In June of 2007 I viewed I saw a rottweiler puppy by the name of Bruiser on Nextdaypets.com. His description stated he was 9 weeks old. When I contacted Bill Bartmann regarding Bruiser he stated Bruiser was sold and he only had one puppy left and his named was Biggin. As per Bill, Biggin was from the same litter. He stated that if I wanted him I should act now because they pups were being sold quickly. I completed the "contract" and sent it back within the hour.

We went back and forth for two weeks with airline reservations because of the heat and the guidlines the airlines have regarding dogs & traveling. On July 10, 2007 I received the puppy. I confirmed with Bill that I received the dog and he stated that I needed to register the puppy with API Registry in order to receive my warranty for the dog. Another $75.00 later and he was registered.

On July 12, 2007 our rottweiler who we named "Justice" (ironically) was tested postive for parvo. The photocopy of shot information stated he was currently 9 weeks old when he should have been 11 weeks by the time I got him. Veterinary paperwork was not sent nor was he shipped with the appropriate documents. Basically, he was not the puppy I purchased & was infected with deadly parvo virus.

Justice was on the brink of death twice and in the hospital for a week and had daily doctor visits for 3 weeks. One time of which our daughter found him lying still and burning with a fever of 104. The vet costs are unforgivable. We took time off of work. Set our alarm for middle of the night medicine that needed to be given. Bill wanted us to put the dog down to sleep, but we didn't.

Bill aka B&B Ranch, Lovable Puppies or whatever he goes by should be reported to the US Dept of Agriculture. I've reported him to ever government agency possible and am getting places with them althought at a snale pace. Last I heard they'll be paying him a visit some time soon. The more complaints the better.

API Registry is the "company" Bill uses to register the dogs in order to recieve the genetic warranty. API Registry is Bill's company as well, so it's another more money in his pocket. Beware!!!! I've done the research and so has my local news station who did a report on him. When we called API Registry they did not want to tell us who the owner was or release any information, but we found out anyway. Every website has an owner so apiregistry is owned by Bill Bartman. Riduclous!!!

Bill uses the same language in all his adds, for example this is on of his current ads:
We are currently selling a gorgeous litter of 13 rottweiler puppies.7 males and 6 females. All of the puppies are fully registered and are current on all shots and have been de-wormed. We have started them on potty training and they are doing great with it. These puppies are going to be huge. Both mom and dad are German and dad weighs close to 150lbs and mom is right at 140lbs.We are also selling them with a 2 year genetic health guarantee as well that does cover hip-dysplasia. These puppies are show quality and come from excellent backgrounds. Our litters usually sell out within 1-2 days so if you are interested than please call us at 866-946-2622.We do offer shipping and shipping is $250. We have plenty of references so if you are interested please email us at wolfpack85@gmail.com or call us at 866-946-2622.Thanks and we hope to hear from you soon

His email address include: puppylove9292@gmail.com, cubsfans1532@gmail.com & wolfpack85@gmail.com

His phone numbers include: 866-946-8622 & 877-810-7988

contacts include Bill, Rick & Kristy

He sells puppies on nextdaypet.com, terrificpets.com, puppyfind.com, qualitydogs.com

Please report all your compliants to your local Animal Control, Better Business Bureau & the USDA, lets shut him down. Check out his Better Business Bureau report, it's negative as well.

We're still paying for the vet bills and am still pushing for the "Feds" to shut Bill down. I've got a great representative in the USDA where I live that is helping me, so I'm grateful.

Justice is doing well. He finally received a clean bill of health in Sept 2007 and is now well on him way to digging up my yard and chewing everything in site. I don't know what the affect of parvo will be on him in the future but we love him.

KOTV news and the Tulsa World newspaper, both here in Tulsa, covered this skeesball. Here are links to their coverage:

Seems that Mr. Bartmann has been feeling a bit of heat... says he's no longer breeding dogs and is moving to Texas. Although, after relocating he'll probably just start his operation up again under a different name.

I also looked into all his web sites, all the sites he used to sell these poor dogs on, his phone numbers, etc. All his sites are gone and none of the phone numbers are valid anymore.

One more thing. I looked his address up on Google Earth. Guess what, it's an empty field with no houses even close nearby.

I hope there's a special place in hell for miscreants like this guy. It's just too bad there aren't laws in Oklahoma that would serve to put Bartmann behind bars (I'm emailing all my state representatives today urging them to change this BTW).

Sorry for your experience. Not all us Okies are this way. I bought my buddy "Jacob Littlebear Blevins", aka "Bubby" from a fellow in Collinsville and had no problems. Of course, he wasn't a "breeder", but just had a pair of chocolate labs that "did their thing". The sire was his gun dog and the dam was his wifes pet. She cried when I took little Bubby away two years ago.

Anyway, I hope these events help everyone feel at least a little better.
