I'm sorry to hear you are getting the same spam mail that a billion other people are getting too, myself included. A simple way to avoid traps liek this is never click on links in emails. Period. Paypal and Ebay never ask for information through email ever.

This has nothing to do with PayPal, and if anything you should be mad at the ISP's who refuse to block the ports all spam mail comes through. As for Paypal, they do what they can to stop spam. They ask that you forward the email to their fraud division (I've done this around 20 times now) and they go after the web provder hosting the illegal website and then the owners of said site. I don't understand how you think this is PayPals fault. I've been using Ebay and PayPal for years, and using some common sense and practical working knowledge of scams being used, I've NEVER been taken. The trick is to be informed.

PayPal facilitates scumbags like this "Bill Chang" character by not doing enough to stop scammers like him and his ilk!!!
Ever notice how the overwhelming number of these phishing attempts involve the name of PayPal?
Why, you ask?
Because PayPal does not take the security and protection of their customers, and the public at large, seriously!!! PayPal's lack of security is actually facilitating fraud!!!
JUST SAY NO TO PAYPAL!!!
