I purchased a vehicle about a year ago, and recently tried to trade it in. I found that I owed much more than I had expected. I contacted my finance company to find that I had financed for 72 months instead of 60.

I remember the finance manager trying to slide the 72 months past me, but I saw it on his computer screen, and told him absolutely NOT. I would not finance for any more than 60.

My husband was there, and remembers the conversation as well. I looked through the package of papers from when I purchased the vehicle, they have been in the glove box the whole time, and guess what? No finance papers.

I learned from an ex-Landmark employee that forging customers names is an everyday practice. My finance company is sending me every document that I have in their file.

If you thought that you had financed for 60 but ended up with 72, you might want to contact your finace company as well.

I've been told that they sit around in their offices playing games as to who can get the closest to the real signiture.
