During the month of August i was looking for a car, i had been to many dealers and was having problems due to monies, Bill Pierre Chevorlet contacted me and getting a car under the first time buyer program, which would allow me to put near to nothing down on the car, i found out i was getting a inheritance so On or around 8/20/2008 i went up to the appointment where i was meeting with a Mark, after looking at a new impalla i saw a Chrysler 300, it was red and had 22's and a low jack system on it, the car was a 2006, Mark, the salesman, then encouraged me to look on the numbers of that car and test drive it saying, "you mind as well finance a car that you really want" we test drove the car i loved it. i then decided that becasue i was getting a large amount of money i was going to put down $15,000, rather than the original zero down. Since my inheritance had not yet been realeased and had about a week more in process, the car company said that i could write a check for $500.00 to hold the car. We sighned papers on the RED Chrysler 300 i left and returned on 8/26/2008, My brother, My then Boyfriend, and good friend were all with me. We sat at the dealership and waited, this lasted about 3 hours. Finally i ask the salesman where my car was since i didnt see it in the front. Thats when the salesman and a man claiming to be the new manager came out saying that was that a car i really wanted, i pulled the salesman aside and asked him where my car was, and that people had takin off work to be here, Thats when Mark informed me that they had just switched over managment and due to that my car was sold earlier that morning, he showed his frusteration about this as well saying the car should of been put away, not stayed on the lot. At this time we were ready to go, the "new" manager ran after me telling me he would make it right, They found a chrysler 300c which is what i would of preferred to the red, and it had less miles and was a year newer. We waited another hour or so for the car to make it to that lot. Now about four hours have passed since our ten oclock arrival. I get in the car test drove it loved it, the sales manager met me on the lot then exstending his apologies, and told me in front of all parties named, that they would do everything in their power to make it right. One of the first things we covered was that due to their mess up that the car prices would be the same, he said "Its not your fault that they didnt keep up with your car, you shouldn't have to pay for our mistake". The original car, the red chrysler was $19,000.. So from there they dropped the bomb on me saying that i could not have the car until the following day becasue the car had to go to safety. I am almost in tears now because i feel that i am being taken advantage of and that they are pulling every which way. The sales manager says you know i really am sorry that they had you come up here didnt notify you of anything and that you have waisted your time, so like i told you we are going to do everything in our power to make you happy. We will pay for your rental car and drive your car to Tacoma where you live and return the rental car. I got the rental car, went back to the dealership gave them the $15,000.00 cashiers check and left. The next day i was waiting for hours for my car when Mark my salesman calls and says there is a problem Max, the boss, took a look at the paperwork and is now asking for a extra $2,700, At this point i am irrate, Mark tells me now i have to bring in this money, which isnt what we agreed on the day prior, i drive up there give them the money where Max informed me i had to sign one more paper, becasue the paperwork was for the other car, instead of sighning the usual 12 or so papers i sighned two and left in a rather upset manner, with my car the Chrysler 300C. Max did not give me my copies becasue my cosighner had to also go back up to Seattle and sighn. when he did the following day and i saw the contract i saw the numbers were not correct, and on the contract you could see where they had added and subtracted things from the contract. About a month later i saw in my bank account that a 500.00 check had been cashed. they had cashed the check prior to me getting my red chrysler that i never received, i call the dealership in a uproar, becasue now i think they have completly gave me the run around they have taken money that was no longer due to them due to them selling my original car,i let Mark and Max know i am unhappy with their service and was done with their buisness and that i wanted to return the car, Max and HIS boss then told me i could not, i had to take it up with the finance company, the finance company told me i had to go threw the dealership. Now i am almost frantic, Finally i get on the phone with a man at Drive Finance, i tell him the story he seems sympathetic to my situation and informs me that Drive doesnt have all the information that they need and that the loan wasnt even approved it, so i did indeed have time to return the car. This conversation took place on or around a friday. He advised me to try one more time to work with the dealership, and if i could not they could infact help me, i argued with the dealership for two days, the final awnser they said was no, and if i came and parked it on the lot it would be a voulnteer reposession. Monday i call drive financial and they inform me the loan had been prossessed.

This company lied about what my monthly payment would be, they gave me the run around and i feel that they did this to me only because of my age and gender. This car that i currently have has been in the shop three times due to the check engine light, the rear mirror motor has gone out the cd player has gone out, the pvc vaulve had to be replaced my O2 sensor went hay wire, and i still owe $13,000 on a car that should of been about $21,000 after taxes and liscensing fees.

I am looking for someone somewhere to help me nail these people for what they have done, due to their tricks and lies they overdrew my account, they never paid for our rental car, and have put me in a financially uncomfortable place.

Someone please help me, if you have had a similar situation with this company lets ban together.

Once they said they sold the red car, you should've known something was up.  Either they were pulling bait & switch, or they were complete idiots.  Either way, why would you want to buy a car from them?  And if you had 15k to spend, why would you need to finance anything?  Why not buy a $15k car?  Car financing is the biggest ripoff.   You wasted a good opportunity to bargain with any dealership because you essentially had cash to pay for the car with.  I don't understand the title of your complaint, though - where did you come up w/that?!

You are a either a very patient person or can decode bad grammer for I have no clue what the basis of this unintelligable report is - Yes buying a vehicle is a total pain and I have had one good experience in the 9 vehicles I have (still own the truck).

To the OP - Yes car salespeople LIE just like horse traders - Next time do your homework, take it with you and don't back down - If you don't like their answers LEAVE -

Where is the Age or Gender discrimination? I will tell you there was none, and throwing around words like that does not add to your report. In fact it could have a negative effect in taking away from the real issue.

Now, where you taken advantage of by the dealer..YES.  Why is there no discrimination?  Because your same story has been told by people of many ages and both genders. There is an old joke about Car Salesman.

How do you know a Car Salesman is lying....Their lips are moving.

Unfortunately since you signed the documents you are probably stuck in the car you have. It does not matter what they say, only what is on paper. This is why you never sign anything until you understand what you are signing. Had you not bought the car you ended up with, you would have had a very good case of breach of contract if they had sold the other car after cashing your deposit. This is why they were so nice to you to try and "make it right".

On a side note you got greedy and they pounced on that. You went from getting an Impala(which I bet was no where near the same price) to a 300. You could have selected from many cars where $15K would have bought the car, and not only have been the down-payment.

I really hope that you take this as a lesson learned for the future.
