Ok let me start out by saying this company already has a bad reputation along with the owner Bill Thompson and his sales rep Ricky Henson they are known crooks in the local community and here is a link to the BBB for them as well. They are not a member, but already have a bad rep with them as well. So you know they are bad when the BBB gives someone a bad record because they themselves are scammers.

Auto Dealers-Used Cars

To begin the story of this company that is nothing but FRAUD, THEFT, and AND LIES!

This place is one of those buy here pay here places that do not check or report your credit. My wife and me went there because we own a successful business and wanted to buy a vehicle that we could just use as a work vehicle just for business. Being they do not report to the credit bureaus we thought this would be ok.

We already own 2 brand new vehicles and just wanted basically a car for business and this was very easy to do because there is not actually a real lender involved just the car lot. To me it was basically like renting a car but not by the day. So we got this vehicle on 02/03/2004 it was a Mitsubishi Montero Sport 1999.

We drove the vehicle up until around September 14, 2005. Now in the meantime I noticed every time a payment was made the balance never really went down. I sent them letters asking them to send records of this deal and they would not do so. I asked them on a number of occasions to send copies of receipts, contracts, ect. They refused.

I have found out later they have a very bad reputation for defrauding people. Now for the payment, the price for the vehicle was $9842.30 now they say finance charges $2447.67, which was for the total amount financed of $9842.30, which was prepaid, I might add.

I also gave them $4000 down for the car now all of a sudden the sales price of the vehicle has went to $16290.30 which means the price with the down payment went up instead of lowering the amount financed which brought it down to what do you know the amount financed $9842.30.

Now anyway after some time had passed and I noticed some things about the payments not being credited to the account I began to get a little annoyed being they would not send anything proving there claims. I told them if they did not send me the requested info I was not paying for this car. Being they are a buy here pay here car lot what more would you expect.

I should have just went to where I buy all my brand new personal vehicles at Peltier Chevrolet in Lufkin, Texas I always pay cash for new vehicles from our Trust. I just did not want a brand new vehicle for business use because I normally just lease for that.

Any way I quit paying them because I really was not worried about it being they where being scammy about the whole thing. You would think it a town the size of Lufkin, Texas around 35,000 people they would not try and pull this type of fraud with people.

They will not last long at all doing that type of thing. The only reason they have gotten away with it this far is because they mainly sell to lower income people who cant really do anything about it.

The thing is though I can. My uncle is lawyer here in Lufkin, which deals with this type of thing legally for fraud and such. Now back to the story, we drove the car around for a while after I told them I was not going to pay anymore.

The owner of the place first sent his salesman Ricky Henson to our house and asked if we would just return the car. I said no we would not. I have to tell you this was one of the most uneducated individuals I have ever come across. He tried to say he was with law enforcement and everything else. WHAT A JOKE!

He was dealing with a University Of Texas graduated so I am not some poor smuck that does not know any better. I told him if he did not leave I would call the Police then he tried to change the story when I told him I would call the police myself.

After he left I did in fact call the police and told them what had happened they told me if they came back to call them and they would arrest them for trespassing. I also told the security guards about this in the place I live.

I live in a very upscale subdivision in Lufkin, Texas they told me if they came back they would escort them out and have them arrested as well. The guy Ricky Henson which is Bill Thompson's sales guy even had called making threats to my wife ect.

So I sent them another certified letter stating I want an itemized statement of where all the money had went to. They still would not send anything. Which is just more the reason they should not be in business.

So anyway we left one afternoon in the vehicle for business with our dog, which is our business mascot. Anyway they took the car while we where not in it along with our dog, which we have not found yet. Now this is not our main vehicle this was just bought to use for business so it really did not matter.

Now the problem here is they did something with our dog. We are going to call the Police department to find out what we can do about that part and the SPCA for cruelty to animals. This dog is like a family member so something will be done about that.

Next I want to expose them for the fraud that they are. I will not stop until this happens. They have actually come across the wrong person to try and scam and steal from. I actually can do something about it. I am about to send them another certified letter saying if they do not tell us what happened to our dog we will be pressing criminal charges against them for that.

I also read the Rip-Off Report book and I let my uncle read it who is an attorney and he thought it was very good and recommended it. If they do not abide by my request those actions in that report will be taken. I will actually hire the picketers around 6 to 8 of them if I have to.

You see money is not the issue here. It is the principle that they will not screw anyone over to make a quick buck for themselves. That is not what business is about. E-Z Motors Inc will be exposed for what they are when I get done. FRAUD, THEFT, SCAMMERS, FRAUDELENT PRACTICES is the only words that can describe these people.

Now I am sure once they get this and read it they will try and get on here and say I am lying about the whole but guess what I can prove everything I am saying. They can do nothing but lie. The city of Lufkin, Texas will know what a fraud they are especially if our dog is not returned safely to us.

The car is not even the issue really it is just the way they do business and it is nothing but FRAUD! I will be posting more as I get new updates. Because everyone let me tell you one thing. I will not stop until I am the one on top of the hill. I have the means to do so.

Please check back for updates. I am going to hire someone to find people who have been victims of this company. Then I am going to tell them what they can do to not be taken advantage of. Check back soon!
So here is a breakdown of what they actually did.

Theft, made treats of bodily harm to my wife will not be tolerated, Fraudulent Practices, Trespassing, and Cruelty to animal, and Lies. This report is also being sent with a complaint to the Consumer Credit Commissioner in Austin, Texas. Also to our local TV news station, and newspaper.

No such thing ?

Tara, your comment: "To my knowledge (and I could be mistaken) there is no such thing as an 'up-scale community' in Lufkin as it is mostly a farming community and very tiny at that, cost of living is fairly low thus negating the need for anything 'up-scale' in that neck of the woods."

First, I am aware this is an old report, but being that I am new here I am just now seeing this.

Not meaning to come across as rude or argumentative at all so please don't take anything I say as such.
It is obvious you are not all that familiar with the Lufkin area. True, Lufkin is by far the largest of towns in Texas (around 40,000 population), but it has (as long as I have been in this area, some 35 years or so) had it so-called up-scale communities. The Crown Colony area, has some rather expensive homes and snooty people that live their. Some are well in excess of the million dollar price range. Though there are many homes and people in this particular community that are living way beyond their means or leasing properties that are really not worth what they are paying for them.

Also to correct the belief that this is a farming community, There are many rural businesses here but no more here then elsewhere. To my knowledge, there are no farms in Lufkin other then individual residents but they are on the outskirts of town just as it is anywhere else.

I notice you are in Dallas so compared to your area, Yes Lufkin is small and down-scaled. If you ever happen to be in the area, I'd gladly give you a tour of farms in Crown Colony :)

For the Public - A touch of common sense...

Ty-
I see now that you made this whole story up but I would like to take the time to exhibit the GAPING holes in your story.
First of all it is obvious that you are writting all of the posts as they all have the same gramatical errors, spelling errors, etc. I would strongly suggest that you learn to use a computer if you are going to claim a post secondary education (that means you went to college) at such a prestigious school as UT of Austin. Next - At a minimum you should stop and think about what you are telling people to make sure it would be somewhat beleivable.

In other words....No one is going to believe that you
A) Have a multi-million dollar trust fund [giving your 8th grade level of speaking and writing]
B) Own a Technology/Real Estate [interesting combination - 10 points for originality] company that produces a profit for you and
C) Own a $245,000 home and two brand new vehicles and then for 'credit reporting reasons' are going to purchase a vehicle from a tote the note lot. Add into that the fact that you didn't even buy the car out right, yet you are suppose to be sooooo rich.

To my knowledge (and I could be mistaken) there is no such thing as an "up-scale community" in Lufkin as it is mostly a farming community and very tiny at that, cost of living is fairly low thus negating the need for anything 'up-scale' in that neck of the woods.

Now some words to the wise for you. People get fired all the time and they go out and find new jobs. If you detest being fired so much then do not take a job you are not qualified for, make sure that the job you have you perform at or above the level your company expects you to, and remember the purpose of a job is to make a paycheck to that you can pay your bills. Lying, making defamitory comments and spreading slander will only result in a very large lawsuit being levied against you with the distinct possibility of jail time if you are not careful and get a really unhappy judge. I wish you all the best of luck and I hope that this little event has taught you a very stern lesson.

Misunderstanding

#22UPDATE EX-employee responds

Fri, June 02, 2006

I would like to post that the people whos name are listed on this report are not involved with this at all. I was fired from a job there and was just angry about it. I just made it up. I was also contacted by a lawyer today that represents MMG. I am adding what I am supposed to add to this report so you know that I did do what I had agreed to do on the phone when we talked today and I am the one who did make these post for this. Now I will no longer be liable for anything now being I did what I agreed to do. I am really sorry about this and it will not happen again. I hope there are no hard feelings toward me.

Explaination

#22Author of original report

Tue, November 01, 2005

Well I got the car from them because I did not want it on my credit. The reason is because I buy lots of real estate and have over a 700 credit score and did not want my score to come down by having this on my credit. They do not even check credit that is why. I was using it only for a work vehicle for business use only. Normally I would just have leased a vehicle under our business credit. But at the time this was just easy to do. When that happened with the dog it was not hot outside it was on a cool afternoon in September. Normally i would not leave the dog in the car if it is hot outside. I just simply did not want another vehicle on my credit that is why i went there in the first place. I have 2 other vehicles one is A brand new Chevrolet trailblazer and the other is a 2004 Porsche. I did not care that they got the car it was the fact they took the dog simple as that. Just about everything i own is in a trust because we pay cash for everything. The only thing i do not pay cash for is business use vehicles. Yes I did learn a lesson. To do as I always have pay cash for everything and only buy from franchised dealers. I have since just do what I always do i leased a 05 Tahoe for business use. That is really the easist thing to do. For me anyway.

Explain your reasoning

#22Consumer Comment

Tue, November 01, 2005

Ok I just want to understand your reasoning behind all of this.

Why if you have all of this money in your trust fund and apparenty a good credit record would you want to but from a cash and carry lot in the first place? Why do you not want it on your credit record? And even thought the dealer is carrying the note they still have the right to repo the car and report you to the credit bureaus.

I am not taking the dealers side in any way and they should have gave you your dog back but you should also be aware that pets should not be left in parked cars. I live in about an hour from Lufkin and I know how hot it gets around here and a parked car is a death trap for a dog.

I hope you have learned a lesson from all of this.

Ricky yes I will do that as that is only fair. If you have called also I would like to know anything you may know of what this company is doing the number you are calling at our place of business is my direct office number and not the main business number so you will have to leave a message for me and I can return your call. From this point I am just going to let my lawyer deal with this situation with Bill Thompson and E-Z Motors about the dog because they will not answer my calls or respond to anything and I dont have time for this. I am glad you told me who it was that took the dog because now I know who actually did it and can pass the info on to my lawyer because what they did about the dog is criminal and there is no excuse for that. But again Ricky I apologize for saying those things about you I was just going by what the idiots at EZ Motors had told me. I will have my secretary fax that saying you are not involved with this. I will be out of town for the next two days starting Weds I will be in San Antonio. So I will get one of them to do that.

Update For Ricky

#22Author of original report

Mon, October 10, 2005

First this is for the customer or whoeve that is that asked if i moved between postings. No I did not when I said I lived in a upscale neighborhood I meant that I lived in a nice home that is all. No i did not move. I moved into this new home we had built about 5 or 6 months ago in this neighborhood.

Now as For Ricky Henson it is obvious he had nothing to do with this and his previous employer was putting this off on him I assume from what he is saying. Ricky I would love to talk with you about this issue if you know what happened or what they did. Everyone it seems Ricky Henson has nothing to do with this and it is all Bill Thompson who owns E-Z Motors. I was only going by what they told me. Ricky if you would like to talk about this yes give me a call and if there is no answer just leave a message and a number I can get back to you at. I would like to just know what happened to the dog that is all I want. I would like to apologize to Ricky about this. From now on this post is only refering to Bill Thompson E-Z Motors. The best time to call me Ricky is in the afternoon because I am usually out of the office during the morning hours.

Then in a subsequent post you state that you live in a $245,000 house.

Did you move between posts?

LIARS AT E-Z MOTORS

#22UPDATE EX-employee responds

Sun, October 09, 2005

I, Ricky Henson, DO NOT work at this sorry company anymore and whoever you talked to lied to you about picking up your vehicle. Alan Flemons picked up the vehicle with the dog in it because he called my house to get the number to Bill Thompson because he said he had your vehicle with the dog in it an didn't know what to do with the dog. I told him the number to call and what happened after that I don't know and don't care. I am no longer associated with these people and am glad not to be. I have a better job. If you were a man about this, you would call me and find out the True facts instead of going by what you Think you know about this situation. I tried to call you but you are not man enough to even answer your phone. Even your business phone to Modern Media Group you will not answer. My wife has even tried to call and still no answer. But you slandering my name will not affect my business in this county in any way. My repeated customers know me and like me because of the respect they get from me. If you were burned by Bill Thompson and E_Z Motors, It was not my fault. I only sold the cars. I was the salesman and that is what that implies. God has blessed me and will continue to bless me and my family no matter what you say or think. Because I treat people right. May God Bless You and Your Family as well.

if you want to verify anything I can prove anything as far as our business

#22Author of original report

Sat, October 08, 2005

Yes we do own 2 other brand new vehicles. Actually one of thes is brand new the other one is actually 8 months old. I can prove this as well. This was not our only means of transportation. I live in a $245,000 dollar home and you think that vehicle was all i own. That Montero was bought strictly for business to drive around Angelina County we own a Technology/Real Estate firm. You are saying why buy from a carlot like that. Well because it was simple to do and I simply did not want it on my credit. We park our vehicles at our place of business in a private garage. I can prove all of this. Everything large purcahse is purchased with my trust. Now he is trying to say that this was our only transportation wrong, he only thinks this because the day he came to our house that was the only vehicle there. We had just moved into that house. We mainly keep our vehicles parked at our place of business in which is also located in Crown Colony and they are parked at our private garage except when we come home one vehicle will be at our home. So him saying that was our only transportation is inacurate. Now as for saying he know longer works for that company is news to me. I had no idea of this. If he had no part in taking the dog that is fine but someone at E-Z Motors had said it was him that did it when i called to ask about it so i guess that could be someone there just saying that because he is now saying he no longer works there.

Also we own a company

(((REDACTED)))

Now if you want to verify anything I can prove anything as far as our business, where we live, that i have a $10.2 million trust that my parents gave me. I am not even from Lufkin, I myself am from Austin, Texas and I graduated from The University Of Texas Austin and I can prove all this as well.

UNFOUNDED TRUTH AGAINST RICKY HENSON

#22UPDATE EX-employee responds

Fri, October 07, 2005

Chris Hooper who wrote this is spreading lies about this situation. I am no longer working for this company as of August 2005. I, Ricky Henson, made no such threats against any person whatsoever. I also did not repo this vehicle with the dog in it. Someone else did. When these people bought this vehicle they were explained every detail they would be paying for. They were constantly late on their payments and late charges applied and they knew it. They never requested a payoff or anything until they got behind on their notes. They got receipts on every payment they made. And they do not own 2 other vehicles as implied. This was their only means of transportation, and it wasn't for business only. If they could buy a new vehicle then why come to a used car lot? You need to check their credentials. I have been true to my customers and will always be so no matter what these liars say. You don't stay in the business for many years unless you are true to your customers. And I have many who came back and brought family and friends. May God Bless You and your family.

Business Name Update!

#22Author of original report

Sat, October 01, 2005

This company also goes by Thompson Motor Co. it seems they have done a number of bad dealings so they changed there name to E-Z Motors to try and fool the public. This is just the typical scam businesses like this do when they develop a bad reputation. They will close down move shop then open under a new name. I have faxed this report to close to 200 businesses in the area. They will not get away with this. Check back again for another update.

BetterBusinessBureau Update!

#22Author of original report

Fri, September 30, 2005

Ok here is an Update on info the BBB has on them.

The BBB has EZ Motors listed as having a unsatisfactory record with the Better Business Bureau due to unanswered complaints.

I have also faxed them a copy of this report and told them what was going on they are refusing to answer or respond because they know they are doing something they should not be. What they dont realize is by ignoring us will only make the problem worse. See why is it when someone does something they should not be doing they try and hide from the problem. I have already had 1000 of these reports printed up as well. I have also started faxing them to every business around the area as well as other business. Check back soon for more updates.

Respond to this Report!
