While searching the web for something I came across an offer for a free sample for BioDermRX - all I had to do was pay $5 shipping. I even double-checked everything on that page because I have been burned by "free trials" before - they usually state somewhere in very tiny print that if they don't hear from you in X amount of time, they will continue to ship product to you and bill your credit card. So I'm quite wary of these sorts of offers! But there was no sign of anything amiss, and as I "signed up" for my free sample, I was directed to further pages offering other products at a one time only discount. I declined. It wasn't until after I put in my credit card info to pay for the shipping and clicked the "submit" button that I received a confirmation email congratulating me on my 15 day trial!!!!

I had even copied the link to my confirmation page (the page as soon as you finish paying) which said NOTHING about a trial, and emailed it to myself, but once I realized what was happening, and clicked on the link, it didn't take me to the same page!!! It took me to a different page that spelled out their Terms & Conditions! When I called the company to cancel my free trial I was told I'd have to return the product at my own cost or be "liable" for the full value of the product. Normally, even with a free trial, if you actually contact the company and cancel, you still get to keep the initial product they sent you because it's a free trial - not try some of it and send the rest back at your expense!!

These BioDermRX people are sketchy in other ways too - there is no indication how they tested their product, and they claim there are no side effects - I find that extremely difficult to believe. The whole organization reeks of scam - if they had a half decent product they would not need to rely on trickery to dupe people. And upon further research it turns out other people have also been taken in by them, so obviously not a legit company and extremely likely not a legit product either. I will not be trying out my "free sample" and I will not be returning it unless and until they pay for the return, even though I have been threatened by them with litigation.
