BizBuySell Business location errors that they have refused to consider changing Internet
Business owners pay to have their businesses listed on their website as for sale. I have talked to them several times now about business that have been listed in my area that I know are in fact not located in my County. I feel sorry for any business owner that is in that category because I have been trying to get them to make change but to now avail. I sent an email explaining exactly what the problem was, (businesses listed in Rensselaer County NY that are in fact located in Nassau in Nassau County. I explained that Nassau (in Rensselaer County is small rural community and most definately these businesses were not located there. The response ( from California) was that they had done an investigation and their investigation shows that they are located there. Really??? I wish all of the businesses listed where there. There is a similar problem in Albany County. They have listed and continued to list businesses that are in Pine,NY. Sorry, bizbuy sell they are not in Albany County.
Only trying to give them constructive critiism about known error and to make their product better and all I get is rudness. The bottem line is if you list a business with them double check where the listing comes out because they make mistakes and don't really give a ****! If your business isn't listed where it is really located it will never sell and they don't seem to care after they have the listing.
