Bizbuysell.com Monthly renewal scam! No warning, charged a month early, no refunds Internet
I placed a 6 month ad on bizbuysell sell for $300. I choose the one time payment instead of paying monthly. I received an email from bizbuysell saying my ad was expiring on Sept 7th and will start into a monthly renewal. Although I never read anything like that when placing the ad, I figured oh well I have a few days to cancel so I did. But just the next day I saw my credit card statement saying I was charged the $50 from bizbuysell on August 09th. I had numerous calls and emails to them and they insist that my 6 month was up Aug 09 and the fine print says it will renew. But the email clearly states sept 7th is the start and they still refuse to refund anything and I honestly feel like it's a scam to get the first month to go unnoticed.
