I am a former employee of Black Box Technologies and they have shown me how people can rip off insurance agents. This company promises every insurance agents dream: hundreds of people lined up to buy their insurance policies. They sell appointments and live transfers. There is just one problem this company has no physical address. It has a PO Box and the CEO and his partner are simply getting agents to send them money and then they are having operators in the phillipines who can barely speak english set appointments. Its the worst and most pathetic thing I've ever seen. To top it off them are using stolen data from the last company they worked for to call and they will do anything in their power to deliver the lead and once it comes over they don't care any more. They promise that every appointment or transfer or lead is guaranteed to be someone ready willing and interested in buying their product. But, this is 100% not true. The typical script they use for seniors is to represent themselves as AARP to get the seniors to feel safe and then they just ask a few questions about medicare and then something like this," are you interested in saving money on your medicare supplements?" if they say yes (who wouldn't) thats what they consider an appointment. So as you see they don't qualify anything, they don't get real prospects they just send over fake prequalified appointments and they tell the agents that if they can't close them that they are weak. The only think weak is Black Box Technologies. Black Box Technologies has also been ripping people off for several years. I got suspicious when i started receiving calls from collection agencies asking for the CEO by name at my home office. They said that the owed the company money and never deliverred a single lead. When i asked the ceo he said buyers are liars. I bought it hook line and sinker. But when I heard that he was going to just send one of our biggest clients 400 live transfers in one week of ,"anyone who listens for more than 45 seconds" as a qualifying condition I lost it and handed in my resignation. This company is a sham. Its run by two con men Mark Wofford and Brendan Mooney and they deserve to get their business shut down and thats exactly what the feds will do to them once they receive my report. Stay away from this company they are nothing but thieves and liars. I know this, I worked with them and believed everything they said until they finally showed their true colors. I'm currently on a mission to make sure no one gets ripped off by these guys ever again.

This is the writer of the original report. I would like to say that everyone that ever worked for Mark Wofford including his poor Girlfriend is a victim of a sad scheme to defraud insurance agents of their hard earned money. If you sell a product and you consider all of your customers lazy idiots that need to be parted with their money then you are definitely a person who doesn't deserve to have a business. This is the mentality that I learned the CEO had, the longer I worked with the company. Apparently the CEO has done time in prison for some white collar crime and it seems he hasn't learned his lesson. The purpose of this update is to exonerate any named officers in the above or afore mentioned rip off report. Everyone including co owners and other sale reps and IT staff and AP staff and hopefully his Girlfriend has since abondoned he company since this incident and the embezzlement of employees paychecks has ensued. Mark currently owes his employees in excess of $2800 in commissions and it has been reported to the IRS plus work on a website and the cost to purchase the URLs and hosting. The site has been taken down. So if you search for the site you will notice that its no longer there. Unfortuately, the site was a nice and well crafted site that went to waste when the soon to be owner didn't pay anyone. Please if you hear the name Black Box Technologies or Mark Wofford, run, hang up the phone, or just start walking away as fast as possible. He had two very well respected and hard working sales professionals completely fooled into working with him as employees and pseudopartners. He is as smooth a conman as they come so let he buyer beware. He will accept your money and tell you that he will set appointments, provide leads, do live transfers, he may deliver a product if you are lucky but its a poor excuse for one and when the results aren't as promised all he will say is come cliche like you are a weak closer or you are too lazy and couldn't close a door. The real reason that insurance policies aren't being written is that the company is run by a guy out of his house and his call center is a bunch of Phillipinos with laptops at starbucks in Manilla making calls or making calls out of their houses on their free Skype international calls. Great busines plan great idea poor execution and shady management equal a terrible experience that you should stay away from at all costs. Again! Stay away from Mark Wofford and Black Box Technologies LLC. They are bad news. I have to write these to make up for the people I signed up and I brought to the table because I feel responsible. If this helps one person say no and save their money then it was worth it.
