This woman has a history of misleading customers as to completion times, ship dates and delays. I have now been contacted by 4 other customers who have had the same problems; excuses, poor communication, promised ship dates, etc. Feedback left also on Ebay and Etsy comfirms this is typical for this seller. Seller closed these on-line stores and reopened on-line as "blackmountaintrading". Don't be confused...same woman...same phone number.

I finally got my money back via PayPal. Do yourself a favor---buy from someone else!

Sue Reeder purchased a custom made medicine cabinet on Ebay in which the listing clearly stated that a color choice was needed. The listing had 6 photos of different colored cabinets as well as a color chart with the 50+ color options so she could choose her color.

We did not receive color choice despite numerous inquires via email and phone.
Customer left negative feedback on ebay.
When asked why, Customer stated that she assumed it would be finished in the color shown.
There were 6 photos in the listing all with different colors.
We finished cabinet for her and shipped it out.
Cabinet was returned to us as "customer refused shipment"
We refunded her money 100%
2 Months later, after she was refunded, this report was filed.

We feel this is a competitor and this was all a malicious way to put a stain on our company. This "customer" admitted that she assumed we would know her color choice. Once it was figured out that she had simply misread the listing we finished the cabinet and shipped it within the time stated. Yet she refused the shipment anyway? She then received a 100% refund and 2 months later decided to file a report? I have the emails with this customer and if anyone would like to view them I would be happy to send a copy to you.

We no longer sell on Ebay or use Paypal due to the fact that they encourage some buyers to give negatives and file these type false claims before working out a fair resolution with both parties involved.
Since Ebay REQUIRES sellers to use Paypal that gives some buyers the ability to file incorrect claims to get their money back before they contact the seller in question.

In regards to Black Mountain Trading that is our original name and due to numerous customers asking us to add furniture we added that also. We own the domain rights to both BlackMountainTrading.com and BlackMountainFurnitureco.com. If we were trying to hide anything we would not have purchased them and have them point to each other.

We have been in business 11 years and while every company makes a mistake now & again, we have always attempted to solve any issues in the fairest manner possible. We offer our customers a money-back guarantee even though each item is custom built and finished for the specific customer.
