Black Scorpion Enterprises The worst run trucking company I've ever seen. Atlanta Georgia
Black Scorpion Enterprises of Atlanta, GA.
This company is really the worst run trucking company I have come across in my entire career, bar none. I was planning my exit 2 days after I got there. Worked there barely a month.
- They never conducted a pre employment drug test on me, even I though I specifically asked about it. I knew right away I was in trouble. How many of their other drivers were not drug tested ?
- Peter Maynard, the second in command I believe, is a straight liar. Not just complaining, and I can prove it. This guy is nothing more than a flunkie for the owner. Nothing more than a trucking pimp. Treats drivers like ******. And he is clueless about trucking in general.
The truck he said I would be driving didn't exist. Put me in a piece of junk Volvo they just bought. Big problems right away. This I can prove as well.
- Fuel card was shut off after one use. So they had to send me money for fuel through my personal Paypal account, and usually it was in amounts of $200, or less. An unbelievable joke. I was fueling 2, sometimes 3 times in a day. I have my Paypal statements to verify this.
- Very slow to fix equipment. Had to finally put my foot down, and demand they fix the truck. The one other truck I drove for them for a very short run was even worse than the first one. An ex Schneider truck that should be put out of its misery. I couldn't even stand to sleep on the disgusting mattress. Ended up sleeping on the floor of the truck on cardboard and camp mat. Felt like a homeless person. Some very unsafe equipment.
- Their vehicle out of service rate was 66% last I checked. 3 vehicle inspections, and 2 of them put out of service.
- Not one time did I get my pathetic pay on time. Always had to go ask for it. One week I had to refuse to drive till I got my pay.
- Constant pressure to violate hours of service.
If you choose to work for these crooks you are a fool.
If you let them haul your freight pray their truck doesn't go into a scale house, because chances are it will stay there a while.
We would all be safer if these guys are put out of business
