The title of my article lies, false promises and unethical business practice describes exactly what Black Sea International does. As a college graduate in search of a job to get started black sea international seemed too good to be true. Micheal "Mavro" Mavrothalasitis is a true con-man. He promised paided training, help companies cut costs with their busness, working with fortune 500 companies etc. BULLSH*T....this job is door to door sales.

When you ask for a job description you get a vague answer such as outside sales or being a consultant. I worked there for a few days and realized exactly how the business is ran and the bad business ethics they do. They push business to buy on impulse and have a rebuttle for every no answer in the book. As door to door sales person you are required to a. use your own telephone so black sea international doesn't show up on any caller i.d. b. use your own car and spend your own gas money..which they will tell you it's okay because it's a tax write off. c. buy your own professional outfits d. do illegal acts such as solicitation e. work 10 hour days f. sell a bad service to good people the list goes on and on.

Don't make the same mistake I did and give this fraudulant company the time. This has happened to hundreds of people accross the U.S. go to google and type cydcor, ds-max those are only a few of hundres of these so called "marketing firms" If you are a college graduate you can do way better than this unethical business.

GREAT SALES EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

I worked at Black Sea International and I enjoyed it.  We worked with great clients such as AT&T. I learned a lot about sales, gained great leadership experience.
Great clients like AT&T don't work with un-reputable companies.  I met that people at AT&T, at the batman building and received some direct training from them.  They were all great.  It was an awesome experience don't let some garbage on the internet  stop you from checking it out. Written by people that obviously are mad that they didn't get to take advantage of the opportunity for whatever reason.
It isn't easy work but for those that enjoy working hard and seeing results in sales its the way to go.  Black Sea International represents great clients and gives it employees the ability to make money.  There were people in the office making over $1,000 to $1,500 a week.  But sales in not for the weak minded so make sure sales is something you want to do.

So this is the one with Michael Mavrothalasitis as owner

There was another report out on Black Sea international that I think I falsely linked to Cydcor.  The beginning of this report is accurate and this Black Sea International is surely owned by Michael Mavrothalasitis.  He gets his clients from Cydcor and runs his office by the rules he is given by Cydcor and his consultants, i.e., Ken Lear, Brandie Rucks, Brad Park. etc.  I have met Michael before and don't have a positive or negative opinion on him.  I do feel it's necessary for any of you job hunters out there to know that you are applying for the average Cydcor job, there is nothing going on in this office that doesn't go on in any of the others.  Do some research on Cydcor, then you may be in the right position to make your decisions and therefore Cydcor and Black Sea would be able to limit the amount of people who get negative impressions of the company, they will no longer be misled.  Best of Luck

BLACK SEA INTERNATIONAL IS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK

I currently work for the company.  I read these articles before I went on an interview, but with all the garbage on the net these days I decided to see for myself.  For all we know the person complaining probably got fired or just couldn't cut it.
I love working for the company.  Yes I do outside sales, and I think it is fun.  Sure the no's aren't the most exciting part of my day,but it is sales and not everyone is going to say yes.  I guess I enjoy the challenge.  I like to deal with business owners and create relationships.  I work with great people, and represent great clients.

"False Lies Promises" This is a funny joke

"False lies promises", That is a funny title to me.
I use to work at Black Sea International. Yes, I did outside sales. I went to college and have a marketing degree. Maybe that is why I understood what outside sales was.
When I interviewed on my second interview they took me out and showed me a day in the life, which consisted of doing Business to Business sales. So naturally when I accepted the position I would have to say I had a pretty good idea what I was going to be doing. I don't think it takes a degree to understand that.
Even though I didn't stick with it I had a great experience.
I learned a ton about interacting with people and helping business owners. It was not a multi-level scam. We represented big reputable companies, helped them get a better service, and even helped them cut there costs. To this day I am still friends with some of the business owners I signed up. They were very appreciative for my help.
I actually got several offers for positions because of my experience with Black Sea International. Its probably because it take guts to be in sales. Not everyone can handle the rejection. Its easy to anonymously post a rip of report. But it is hard to go in and stand behind what you are selling, and make sure the customers are taken care of.
Oh yea and you may have to as the person said, "buy your own professional outfits" or what some people would call wear a suit to work. What did you expect? What company hires you and then goes into your closet to make sure you can look professional.
I guess each person is entitled to their own opinion, but they should try to spell check before they post on the web for everyone to see.
Finally, there may be many marketing companies out there that are part of Cydcor or DS-Max but Black Sea is not one of those; so you should check your facts.
