On January 4, 2012 we paid a $700 deposit for 2 Smith & Wesson 637 Laser Site guns. We put down a $700 deposit against the cost $1,400.  At the time we were told by Tom Rompel that there was a delay of 6 weeks due to heavy ordering.

After the 6 weeks passed, we contacted Tom again by phone, and were told that they were still 'back ordered' and we could anticipate another 6 week delay.

After another 6 weeks passed, another telephone conversation was held with Tom, and again, he said that due to the huge level of new gun owner interest, we were to ancitpate an additonal delay of 2 months.

After 2 months, we visited the store front for Black Weapons Armory.  We spoke to Tom directly, and he said that the guns were back ordered.  At this time, we inqired as to getting our money back.  We were told at that time, again by Tom Rompel the owner of Black Weapons Armory that we would be charged a Cancellation Fee of 20%. In his email to us, he said and I quote " Our terms are  clearly spelled out at the bottom of the receipt you received at the time the order was placed. Ok yes the receipt we received 2 years ago, the ink is practically faded out because of the time, but yes I think I can still read it.

What?

In May, 2014 (check the dates) this started January 4, 2012. Now May 2014, we contact the Better Business Bureau regarding Black Weapons Armory Tucson AZ and Tom Rompel to tell them of the bad business practices happening at Black Weapons Armory, Tucson AZ.

Tom Rompel Owner of Black Weapons Armory, Tucson AZ sent an email addressing the complaint, which is the only thing that the Better Business Bureau requires be done by the business.  He offered at that time to contact Smith & Wesson again and see if he can pin them down as to when our handguns will be available, and when I find out, I will contact you.

If for no other reason, Tom Rompel owner of Black Weapons Armory, Tucson AZ did not do his due dillagence as a responsible local business owner.
