I purchased an 05 Cadillac STS with 50K miles. I had the car for almost 7 months with very minor issues. I was the second owner for the vehicle. The brakes needed repair which is something I can do by myself and I did. After a day or two the vehicle started making a ratling noise when ever I applied the brakes. I assumed it was the brakes. Brought in into Blaise Alexander of Hazleton PA.

They told me it was short 2.5 quarts out of 6 and that was the cause of the rattling  noise. Before informing me how much the cost would be they went ahead and charged me $107 and claimed they conducted 99 point inspection and mentioned that the vehicle was operating as designed.

I left the dealership and went home to get my daughter. I placed the car in park and I heard this clinking noise whenever I moved the gear stick to any gear. I contacted the dealer and the GM Phil who started to defend their service tech and blamed me for the issue. I had no such problem for the almost 7 months driving the vehicle.

After playing phone tag with the customer care rep, Shanie or whatever her name was, I got in touch with her. She was very dismissive but most of a all deceptive and a crooked customer care rep. She began to twist my story and would not allow me to speak.

They told me it's an old car prompting me to basically to buy a NEW car, not in so many words. In other words, Cadillac is useless beacuse its a 05 model. I have seen Cadillacs from way back in the days opertaing fine. However, based on the customer care and Phil, they gave the impression that Honda, Toyota, etc for example has better life and a better vehicle compared to Cadillac.

I told them based on my research, the metal rod that conects to the gear normally goes bad. She, the rep, Shanie, or whatever, stated that I cannot watch videos to find out what the issue is, I must pay $99 or $107 for them to evaluate the vehicle. They mentioned that since they vehicle does not have warranty there is nothing they can do. I ask them to look at the video of the tech working on the vehicle. I doubt they did or even have such systems set in place.

Merciless, ruthless, and despicable!
