I woke up today and apparently Blizzard Entertainment has decided to close my Diablo 3 account. I have no idea why. To Preface:

This game is the first major release with a Real Money Auction House built in and maintained. They make money off of this.

I am going to be brief because I've been struggling to get through to anyone over at their support team to figure out why, since they designed their Customer Service section to be an infinite loop, and for some reason the second biggest gaming company in terms of revenue and biggest in terms of use does not have phone support (anymore).

I have personally made enough money off of selling items from this game for it to be considered at least a side source of income. ~1.2-1.5k USD over two months~ Nothing compared to many others but I play the game to play the game. The reason I am mentioning this is to show that in this case, this account is worth money in their own eyes.

I sent in a ticket asking them to please explain what I did because I do not cheat, use third party applications, scam, or use a Bot (a program that plays the game for you). I am legitimately confused to what I could have done to deserve this. So I get my response back in good time (this is the only part I am happy with) in the form of an obvious template saying they have confirmed their findings and they are going to stick with their original decision of banning me for my offense (of which yet again they haven't given me the slightest clue to what it was).

This may sound trivial to the normal person, but I have been somewhat introverted (and broke) and this is one of my main activities. It is also decisively less trivial when you take into account, that my account is worth real money (just from the gold I have alone much less my fairly high quality gear). I would say that I am in the top 5-10% of time played since the video games release last year of users that still play. I payed for this game and I cannot play it and unlike the previous version, Diablo II, there is no single player. It is online only.

This isn't Blizzard Customer Support. Not sure why you're posting this here. If you want to know why your account is banned, maybe you should try contacting them?
