I rented 2 movies from the Blockbuster Express kiosk. The movies had to be returned by 9pm in order to not be charged for an additional night. I went to QuickTrip where the kiosk is located and returned the Movies at 8:38pm. After I returned the first movies I noticed the return time posted was 9:38 pm. So it charged me 2 additional charges of 1.08 for returning both movies. Arizona has its own time and there is proof that the movies was returned on time. So I went home to check my email for the return receipt which arrived the next morning and it also said 9:38pm. I called the 1-800 number listed on the site and spoke to a representative that said he could give me 2 free codes for the error. I politely declined because I would still have to use my credit card adn the same problem could potentially happen again, so I stated I wanted a credit. A credit was suppossedly issued but the charge never came off of my account. I called BBExpress customer service again this morning and went through the whole thing again and was told that I would get the $2.16 credited back to my account. Teh purpose of this report is not that I merely want $2.16 back that was withdrawn from my account for no reason, although it is my money and no excuse is necessary since it was a error, but to question how many other Arizonans was erroneously charged an extra $1.08 per movie they rented from the Blockbuster Express kiosk. Taking $1.08 from every customer in Arizona that returns their rented movie after 8:01pm local time turns into one hell of a profit all because Blockbuster time system is wrong for Arizona and since it is a relative small amount the customer may never notice that they are being ripped off and Blockbuster is profitting all the way to the bank.

Blockbuster Express is not run by Blockbuster but by NCR

I have to make a correction to my report. I originally believed that Blockbuster was teh company behind Blockbuster Express but today I found out it was not. The company behind teh video kiosks is NCR. I contacted the PR person and he claimed that he forwarded my concern to the vice president of customer service; not too sure but that mean.
