Blockbuster changed their return policy for selling rented DVDs from 30 days to 20 days, but negelected to inform the consumer adequately. Now they don't call me back when they say they will and have sent my account to collections (which I have denied) and still won't answer my questions or work with me. I don't mind paying the $1.25 restocking fee, they already have the movies they "sold" to me. What's going to end up happening if this is not resolved soon is the loss of a customer over some late charges. It's not like they don't have the movies and they will be out the money. They have the movies and can continue to rent them out.

Actually, you were informed. It was one your receipt in 3 places: On the back, Under the items your rented, and at the very bottom.

Considering the fact that you still kept it out pass due either way you look at it, I'm not really seeing where you have room to complain. I'm agreeing with the guy previous to me-you don't return anything else late, now do you? rental car, library book....bills.

You're an adult, I shouldn't have to hold your hand. Also, side note? You threatening to cancel your acct really doesn't hurt as much as you think it does-you're basically spitting in the ocean and lessening your chances of use helping you. You get more with sugar then vinegar, and all that.

Every movie has a unique code on the label on the box. If our system "auto-sold" it to you, then it's yours to keep once it's paid for. Items store for more than XX number of days will be sold (just like any other store, storage unit, or layaway product).

You wouldn't rent a car and return it late would you? Of course not because they charge you for every hour you have it.

Return your movies by the date listed and there will be no problems. And by return, I mean carry it in the store, get in line, hand it to the clerk and have them check it in. You don't drop off your rental car and just drop the keys in the box do you?
