I don't like Blockbuster and I used to be an employee until I voluntarily quit. The store as a whole is horrible.

Here is a tip for you. They don't care about the individual all they want is profit. If they say you have a late fee it could be their fault. It's called F.O.S. meaning Found On Shelf, which means it was missed by an employee and was never scanned in. If they find it they clear the balance on your account but there are times it is simply checked in and the balanced is left on your account. If an employee wanted to check the item out to a person and it was still checked out to you they have the option of checking it in (which must be done before it can be rented out) so you have a balance to pay.

Also the managers always say "I have no power over that" or "I have no power over what the computer does", please, they can take off a balance with the stroke of a few keys.

And also a big tip for you. They say cut off time is 12:00pm or noon but in the computer it doesn't cut off until 3:00pm. It was 2:00pm but was moved to 3:00pm not the 12:00pm noon. So if you are running late just WALK IN the store BEFORE 3:00pm and hand it to an employee to check it in for you at that moment. They will probably hassle you about it being passed noon but don't let them get to you.

SO remember its really checked in before 3:00pm and you ok. and remember the F.O.S.
