You drop your videos off in the overnight box the night before or 10 mins. prior to the return date and then return in a week and you are informed that you owe late fees. The probably were not processed (returned in the computer) until after the due date. Then minor daughter took minor brother to rent a video game on a birthday card and daughter did not have small keyring blockbuster card, yet provided the home phone, and the parents name on the computer list, and the blockbuster employee verified adult names and still did not let minor boy to rent the game. It is a 30 mile round trip to the closest blockbuster.

After we use this birthday card we will NEVER use blockbuster again. We will pay the higher fees and go to a local (family owned video store) or even use NETFLIX.

This is absolutely ridiculous. You get charged late fees because you turn your movies in late. I admit every now and then one slips few, but those are so far and few that all of your late fees can not possibly be due to this.

Also, if you send a minor in to rent then they either need the card or an ID with a picture on it. It really does not matter how much they can verify; we will not rent without a card or a picture ID that matches one of the approved renters on the membership. You signed a contract agreeing to this when you signed up for your membership.
