Be aware that some adult web sites may offer you an "introductory" rate and then charge you the full monthly rate once they get your credit card on file.

Here's what happened to me at Barbie the Blonde Flashers site. She is also affiliated with a variety of other sites so exercise CAUTION on them too.

1) I registered for the $3.79 three day trial, on Monday.

2) I emailed to cancel it on Tue, but Barbie asked me to re-consider, so I did.

3) I emailed to cancel it on Wed, but received no reply until Friday (when the 3 day subscription expired).

4) The reply which came from IBill, simply said that my subscription was cancelled, it didn't say WHICH subscription.

5) My credit card statement had TWO charges, the $3.79 plus the $14.95 monthly.

6) After writing over 14 emails back and forth to Barbie trying
to get her to reverse the charge I gave up and called IBill.

7) IBill corrected the problem, once I provided the backup information for them.

8) Barbie, finally agreed to reverse the charges (after I had IBill involved)

8) Today, Barbie writes me this "wonderful" letter:

Its such a pitty that some sites have to act this way.
Buyer Beware, Rob

You are such a loser.

I told you I would give you your money back, but that wasn't enough for you... I'm listing you on the webgirls BlackList of jerks that steal from the webgirls and waste all their time jerking them around and causing them problems. You will remain their for 5 years and other webgirls can post info about you too.

Blonde Flasher trial subscription credit card ripoff (#4554)

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report:

Their email: Barbie@BlondeFlasher.com
Their name: Barbie

Rebuttal:
Dear RipOffReport,

This is truly a good forum for Rob vanNostrand from Canada to be posted because he truly is a prime example of your typical Internet scamming con artist. He is known to have scammed several webgirls with this same scam he pulled on me. He joins my site for my 3-day trial for $3.79, knowing that it will automatically renew if not canceled during those 3 days. He
then has complete unlimited access to the site for 45 days before sending a letter claiming to have only wanted the membership for 3 days and demanding a complete refund, threatening to cause all sorts of problems and bad publicity if I don't give in to his extorsion.

This conman is blacklisted from several websites it is suggested that you do not conduct any business with him as all the letters and correspondences that you will waste on him are all part of his scam to wear you down and steal from you.

It's a shame people are like him, but thanks to forums like this, we can better protect ourselves.

Afirmation of my original statement

Hmmm, that is an interesting customer service response.
Unfortunately the FACTS do not bear out the rebuttal.
I am certainly not a scam artist. What a laugh.
It would be interesting to see what would happen any good customer service oriented store if they started to call their
disgruntled customers scam artists.

IBill is a reputable company, who has the copies of ALL my email correspondence which supports this story as I have written.

I have nothing to gain through this action, it is simply a goodwill public gesture to protect the others who might get taken by this and other adult sites.

Case closed.
