Blooms N Roses.com Gifts Flowers and Bridal Mississauga, Eileen Terry Mc Kinney Charged Credit Card and Did Not Complete Order Internet Ontario
I ordered an arrangement online (which was stupid considering how ridiculous the website was). Cost was around $50 and I placed the order around 3:30 pm receiving a "receipt" through email 2o minutes later with the name "Eileen Terry Mc Kinney" as sender. I called 416-532-8640 the next day to check on delivery and a guy answered the phone with no business greeting. He asked me for my order number and when I gave it to him he immediately said you have to call after 6:30 pm for delivery confirmations. I was skeptical because I had ordered the day before so he should have the info, it sounded like a cell phone and I know that he didn't check the order number that I gave him.
I called my credit card company to try and cancel the order, but I had already been charged as soon as I placed the order. So I called back the next evening this time at 7 pm. The guy answered saying "flowers and blooms" and when I said I wanted delivery confirmation he put me on hold...for 20 minutes. Of course I finally hung up and when I tried to call back there was no answer and no answering machine. So I called back immediately from another number and same guy answered. I politely told him that he had me on hold and I needed him to check my order. He then asked when I placed the order and when I said two days before he said he only had confirmations from that day as he was the answering service. This was so ridiculous that I wanted to laugh. I asked "how am I supposed to know if the delivery took place?" He said I am just the answering service, you have to call during business hours. I let him know that I had already done that and they told me to call after 7 pm. He said "I don't know, I am just the answering service as the shop is closed." So I said, "Ok, I will call back tomorrow and if I can't get an answer then I am going to report the company as I have been charged for a service that has not been completed." As soon as I said "report" he hung up on me. Called back and no answer.
The flowers were never delivered and my financial institution gave me a refund, but all they can do is send company a complaint. They never respond so that's useless. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and they also urged me to file a complaint below.
