I ordered flowers from this company to be delivered to a funeral home for my uncles service on a monday morning. Since it was a weekend, after hours for most florists, they did a rush order so it could be at the funeral home by 9 am that monday morning.

I joined there "bloomsrewards" to save some money on the flowers since they said I could cancel the membership in 14 days. They charged me 14.99 for delivery plus 9.99 for express delivery since it was last minute, fine I just wanted the flowers there! Was told if there is any problem with the flowers not being there etc., to call the florist but they would double check everything to make sure they were!

YEAH RIGHT! Of course monday morning the flowers are NOT there! I call the florist, she tells me she had recieved the order and was preparing to make them however, bloomstoday.com refused to pay her for the express delivery of 7.50! After I paid them 14.99 AND 9.99 to deliver them on time! The florist said bloomstoday canceled the order with her within 3 hours of my placing the order.

Bloomstoday.com never called or emailed me to notify me in the cancelation of my flowers, BUT THEY HAD NO PROBLEM CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD! If I had been unable to drive 8 HOURS to my uncle's funeral, who died unexpectedly at the age of 58, I WOULD HAVE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE ORDER BEING CANCELED BECAUSE I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THERE TO NOTICE THE MISSING FLOWERS! I called this morning for a refund and they 'claim' it will be refunded to my account within 7-10 business day, all they have done so far is taken the 'credit' back from the supposed 50% off of the order. The customer service rep claims it is not fraud, I don't know how that is possible considering their actions in the matter were completely fraudulent. Charging someone for a product and service and then not delivering on it is in the least theft!
