At the end of June 2004, I ordered a set of 3 XO cocktail tables. The picture of the tables was exactly what I wanted. I paid for them immediately through paypal. They say they will deliver in 1 or 2 days with in the Houston area. I didn't get my tables delivered for over a week!! They sent me no receipt of my purchase through email or the regular mail and never called to discuss delivery. I had to call THEM!

The guy I spoke to seemed to be very unorganized. He never called back when he said he would. I had to call him about 3 times to find out about delivery. He said they would be here at 2pm. on a certain day. They showed up at 12 pm and were irritated that I did know they were there. Well, they did say 2pm...so that is when I expected them. I put together one of the end tables and noticed what bad quality it is. The XO designs were painted with gold paint and parts of the XO's were not painted and paint was on other parts of the table where it should not be.

Underneath the table there was suppose to be these skinny bars poking out around the gold ball, it turned out to have little tiny petals around the gold ball and looked like a flower. That was not what the picture looked like!!!! I first emailed the owner. He states, "I would like to personally guarantee your satisfaction, so if I can help in any way just let me know. You can email me directly at ..." I NEVER heard back from him at all!!

Then I called them and spoke to the same salesperson I did regarding delivery. I explained how I was not happy about the quality and explained to him about the paint and the lack of the skinny bars. I explained to him that is not what the picture showed. He began to tell me there was nothing they could do. When I mentioned the satisfaction guarantee and how I had emailed his boss, he said he will see what he could do. He finally called back and told me that if I wanted to return them, I would have to bring the boxes all the way back to them.

Not only are the boxes both extremely heavy and big, they do not fit in my car. He told me he could only give me credit for the item. I was very frustrated. I paid about 200 dollars and didn't get what I wanted which is what they display in the picture. Then I put together the coffee table. It is as tall as the 2 coffee tables!!! I couldn't believe it. A coffee table is not suppose to be that tall.

Again, in the picture it looked perfect. The salesperson complained to me about how he had lost money on the sale because I lived so far away and it is not a good choice cost wise to come pick up the tables. I am using the tables because I don't have a choice. I HATE them!!! They show the consumer fraudulant pictures of what you think the merchandise will look like and it doesn't look like the picture. They did not hold up there end of the bargain regarding 100% satisfaction guarantee. I am very disappointed in them. This was my first and probably last big purchase over the internet without seeing the item first.
