Blue Bay Advisors False promises Orlando Florida
In March of 2008, I contacted Blue Bay Advisors to get more information on their services. My husband and I purchased a timeshare in St. Maarten and we wanted to sell this timeshare. We listed it with two other companies (at this point we were out $800 for their services, or lack thereof), and we thought we would have better luck with Blue Bay Advisors. I was told by the gal that I spoke with that they were a full service business. All we would ever need to pay is $770 for them to do a title search and get the estoppel letter. Since then, she has left the company, and after numerous attempts to get a copy of the title and estoppel letter, we are no closer to selling this timeshare. I was told by another company that the seller did not have to pay for any of this. This fee is paid by the buyer.
I truly believe that they have not done anything to promote this timeshare in order to sell it even though I was told that they could within a certain timeframe. Everything they told me was a lie and I believe they had no intention of ever listing the property, or marketing at their trade shows. I looked them up with the BBB of Florida and there are numerous complaints filed against them. I filed one as well and they have not responded.
Anyone interested in filing a class action lawsuit? I don't think they should get away with stealing and lying just to make a quick buck. It is reprehensible what they have done to me and to many others. They need to be stopped.
