My experience is very similar to J's.

I purchased a Refurbished Motorola Razor Cell Phone on EBay from Blue Bay Electronics' using Papal.

"I received the phone and immediately found that the screen was very badly scratched over much of its surface. Additionally, the phone had scarring and damage all over the case (typical of a well-used phone)." I found myself in the same exact situation as J.

I too immediately contacted Blue Bay and below is the e-mail Chain. (The bottom e-mail from me is the beginning of the correspondence).

In short they took a long time to get back to me, requested pictures I had already sent them, told me that They would refund my money but charge me a 15% restocking fee because I took too long to send it back to them (even thought I wrote them the day after I received the phone), acknowledge it was their fault for the delay, they refunded me the phone but not the overpriced original shipping cost of $25 dollars or my return shipping cost. So I had to pay for the USED junk they send people, because it isn't what they advertised it to be.

Not refurbished, USED!

I was very unhappy with this transaction. It was a waste of my time (17 days of hassle) and money. I would strongly advise others to avoid doing business with companies such as Blue Bay Electronics and save yourself the headache.

I hope this helps,
S

Hello Robin,
I contacted you the day after I received my phone (Oct 23 rd). However you did not get back to me until now (Nov 7th) with return instructions, that is why the 7 days are past. I would like you to credit me back a FULL refund for this transaction.
Please Contact me if you have any more questions.
Thanks,
S

Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting us.
We do apologize for your inconvenience. We do however have a 7 day refund policy and we are currently past that. We would be more than happy to exchange this item for another one. If we refund your money, it will be less 15% restocking fee and shipping. Please advise what you would like to do.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,

Dear Blue Bay,

I received my phone, thank you for the prompt shipping.

However; I have a problem with the condition I received it in.
The phone looks to be more like a "used" item rather than a Refurbished one.
I attached some images of the of the phone for your records.

I would like to send it back for a full refund.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you,
S

Get your money back

Ifyou paid through paypal with a credit card, you can get your money back. All of it.

All you have to do is send the item back with delivery confirmation (keep the receipt) and file a dispute with your credit card company for the total amount paid. Forget trying to get paypal or ebay to do anything. Go straight to your credit card company.

If you paid with a debit card or with bank account funds, or sent a money order, then you are at the mercy of the seller.
