BLUE BEACON TRUCK WASH. Lousy job washing my RV. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
I took my RV to Blue Beacon to have it washed. First I asked if they could wash the top. Answer, NO. Ok, I said just wash it then. They asked if I wanted the RainX treatment and the tire dressing. I said 'YES'.
So now about a half dozen people are walking around with long power wash wands but no one seems to be doing much except a guy with a brush who washed the bugs off the front and rubbed the wheel covers. Everyone else is just squirting water from 5 feet away.
I paid my bill ($52.00) and it looked OK since it was all still wet. After driving 3 miles to my storage facility and now the unit was dry, you could tell that it was not very clean. I could feel dirt on the side panels. I took a damp paper towel and rubbed it over the side and lots of dirt came off on the towel.
After it dried, there was no shine from the RainX treatment, I guess because it was still dirty. The tires also had no shine from the tire dressing, so I assume that it was not put on.
I wrote them an email and they have not responded so I'm complaining here so others will not be taken by them.
After several days of them not responding I took it to a self-service car wash with a truck bay and did it myself ($12) and it is now clean and shiny with a clean top.
Stay away from these guys. Use anyone else, but not them.

They did respond to my email complaint.

Two days after I filed the complaint, I received a letter from Blue Beacon home office with an apology for the lousy service and was given a $20 gift certificate. I don't think I will spend another $30 to use my 'Gift'. Now if they had given me a certificate for another wash job, then I would have been much happier. But, at least they did respond.
