Writing Fraudulent Checks Are Against The Law, I believe in all states, even in Tempe, Arizona!

On November 3, 2008, I was contacted by phone by a sales rep. from "Cashing In On Auctions" (The parent company is "Blue Chip Marketing Group"). The subject of the phone call was to get me involved in an internet business, by selling me a website. After some time (and searching Google during the call for any bad reports on this company with no negative results reported), I decided to give it a try. The price was $150 to get started at the level he recommended.

Two days pass, and I had not heard from the company, by email or phone. This threw up red flags to me, and I decided to ask for a refund. The customer service office was closed, so I called the next day to make my request, on November 6, 2008. The customer service representative verified the date of my initial order and informed me they would send me a refund within the next few days.

More than a week went by and I had not received anything in the mail, so I called customer service again (11-24-08). I was given a tracking number to the Priority Mail shipment for the U.S. Mail service, which finally arrived On December 2, 2008.

On December 12, 2008, I received notice that the check from Blue Chip Marketing Group, had been returned for not sufficient funds. This check not only bounced, but I also incurred fees for Blue Chip Marketing Group's check bouncing!

I contacted the customer service department for Cashing In On Auctions AKA: Blue Chip Marketing Group, and I was told that someone had withdrawn unauthorized amounts from that account and the account had been closed, but I would be receiving a check for the $150.00 plus the $32.00 fee for the total of $182.00. The customer service representative name is Adrian, with whom I had several conversations concerning this matter. Excuse number 1 is "We are just waiting for the authorization to release the check, and now the excuse now is they are refusing the grant the refund because I got upset and said I would report them to the "Federal Trade Commission" and the "Better Business Bureau" last night, January 20, 2009.

I have noticed there have been several other complaints filed here at "The Ripoff Report" and an individual by the name of Rob Mann (Owner) has made attempts to restore credibility for this company, and he should do that very thing. However, in this case, knowingly has written a bad check, and they have refused to make good on it! By the way, knowingly writing bad checks is against the law, since it is the same as Stealing!!!

My advise and in my opinion to anyone who may be considering doing business with either "Blue Chip Marketing Group" or "Cashing In On Auctions" is to avoid them like the Black Plague!!!

I'll Never Give Up!

The consumer's complaint listed above is half honest at best. The consumer was granted a refund check from the company. The check was drafted accidentally from a prior account of the company. The consumer voiced his concern when the check came back, however what the consumer had failed to mention is that not only did we correct the error as promised from the mistake; we also took the liberty in reissuing the consumer credit for the funds charged for the bad check. Funds were issued to the consumer via wired funds as requested. What the consumer is failing to mention is that a signed contract was issued by the consumer to update this complaint as promised.
