Complaint Review: Blue Fox Nutrition

 I had read about the weight loss product Garcinia Cambogia and was interested in trying it so I stupidly signed up for a free trial, along with its accompanying product, Feel Fresh. I paid 4.95 each for shipping. When I received the products, I immediately questioned the authenticity of these products because the bottles were cheaply made (almost comical) and they did not come with an invoice or packaging slip. I didn't think much of it and decided to not ingest this shady product...and then a month later I received another package of these two bottles with no invoice or packaging slip again. I used a debit card I rarely used, so I don't check the account often. After this package arrived, I immediately checked my account and found that a withdrawal of 79.95 came out on 6/24 (I ordered the product on 6/8) and then again on 7/9, another amount of 84.90 also came out on those dates. I When I finally found a number on one of the bottles, the customer service rep (in a foreign accent) said I didn't cancel my subscription within 14 days, therefore I am liable for the amount charged. He said I agreed to the terms and conditions. I would never have agreed to this if I had known. I don't even recall seeing this disclaimer. I contested the charges with my bank and this company returned half the money. The bank can't do anything else because I supposedly agreed to this. I called customer service again and argued with them for a long time until they agreed to give me a refund if I return the bottles. I have mailed the bottles back. We'll see what happens. I will ever ever again fall for this scam again. I wish I had done my research first. This type of unethical business practice should be illegal. And to make matters worse, the 14 day trial started at the date of purchase. I received the product five days later. It doesn't make sense...this company is evil and a fraud.
