Blue Haven has a "guarantee" of completing pool 35 days after excavation even recently they advertise 21 days after excavation weather permitting.

It has been 3 months since we signed the contract. Still no pool. They never return calls, when we call we are told "it's not my job."

The manager never return calls. Construction department is very poorly managed.

After the contract is signed the salesman is totally history.

I will never recommend Blue Haven and will start arbritation today.

We have had numerous problems throughout the entire construction process..this was worse than building our home, and is taking longer. We are tired of the excuses, mis-management, and lies.

I had many problems with Blue Haven when they did my pool earlier this year. Some of my complaints have never been addressed. For instance, they quoted me a price for having the existing utilities moved. The price actually ended up being less than the quoted amount. They still made me pay the higher amount. When I asked them for a complete accounting they sent me a packet with forms that were blacked out so you could not see the amounts they were charged. I am getting ready to file a Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) complaint with the Attorney General's office to get this resolved. I doubt Blue Haven will even care. My brother had his pool done by them first and then recommended them to me. We both wish we had chosen otherwise. I hope your situation works out better than mine. Good Luck!

IF your problem still exists, your complaints are to the wrong people. The office in Houston is run out of San Diego, CA at 636 Broadway, Suite 310 ---SD, CA 92101.

The 51% owner is Alvin G. Eisman, but you will not find the Houston area offices on file with the Secretary of State. This means it is operating as another name and registered in another state like DE, NV or anywhere in the country or off-shore. It could also mean it is a joint venture or general partnership. You need to check with the city to find out how it is operating, under what name(s) or you cannot prove it has any real link to Blue Haven Pools. The company can say Houston is operating under its name without authorization to do so.

If you have a legitimate complaint that still exists and/or you are not satisfied, then you can do the following:

1. Get a Consumer Legal Remedy Act letter from www.ucan.org website and tailor it to your specific issues. Send it certified, return/receipt to the San Diego office, to Blue Haven Pools National,Inc in the Dallas Metroplex (see links from www.geocities.coml_pope from Florida to find corporate information or search the Sec. of State site for TX to get names of officers and directors and agent for service of process---send letter to all named parties.

2. File online complaints with Dept. of Consumer Affairs, local BBB, Attorney General and District Attorney. IF there is a state contractor's board or some similar agency, do the same. BBB WILL respond and act if it gets enough complaints about the same company whether the company pays to belong or not.

3. Do not bother to keep calling a general manager who is powerless and doesn't call the shots. San Diego calls the shots. The head guy in Dallas is named Kyle Peek and can be found in Lewisville, Dallas or Southlake offices. He is the one who can get permission from SD, CA to help you; but most likely will not do it.

4. When placing complaints online like this, might be helpful to others if you specifically name the office, address and the full names of people with whom you have interacted.

5. Feel free to let me know if your situation has changed or if you need a different type of help, at this point. It's always more beneficial to organize other people in your area who have had or are having problems with this company.
