Griffith said Tabor, who started the school, and Cleveland businessman Michael Hoffman, who ran it, made “personal guarantees” to pay $30,000 for the desks, chairs, and office furniture and cafeteria equipment. Two and a half years later, Griffith said he’s still owed more than $10,000.
