Complaint Review: Blue moon trading company

The negative comments and accusations made in this fraudulent report about Katie Gagnon and Blue Moon Trading are ABSOLUTELY FALSE!
(And quite clearly the delusional mutterings of a bitter, angry person in desperate need of an immediate mental health evaluation.)

I have known Katie and Blue Moon for over 6 years. My first encounter with Katie was as a 20 something single woman furnishing my first home in South Tampa. I found amazing one-of-a-kind pieces at affordable prices.and almost my entire home was furnished with great finds from Blue Moon. Design on a budget is not easy! Katie helped me see beyond pieces of furniture and truly create an environment in my home (which is constantly evolving.)

Now in my 30s, my tastes have changed, and Ive up-cycled furniture. Katie took me on as a vendor in order for me to sell the pieces I no longer loved. Where else can you do this in Tampa? Katie prices my pieces fairly, she is organized, and knows what will sell in her store. I am paid timely, and her business practices are cut and dry. I know exactly what I will be getting for what I selland thats what I get!
 
Above all, I have now come to know Katie as a dear friend. She is kind and patient and an ethical business person she has modeled behavior that I have adapted in my own business. She has an eye for design that is truly a giftthe store is a place I want to stay in for hours. Her positive energy and love for what she does is inspiring and infectious!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Katie and Blue Moon. In fact, I refer everyone I know to Katie. My sister, mother, friends, co-workersall own Blue Moon pieces and visit the store frequently for new treasures. I also do some work on set designBlue Moon is always my first stop.

My name is Paul Gagnon, I am Katie's husband. I know the author of this ignorant attack on my wife. I am also Katie's partner in this business. Although I don't work at the shop. I am kept informed by my wife.

Her name is Muna C. Goyal. Along with her private detective have perpertrated this character assassination on my wife. Because we foiled her attemps to take advantage of Katie.

You thought that your name would be kept in confidence by writing on this website, maybe so, maybe not. There are legal means for them to release your name.  I will do everything in my means to make that happen legally. At that point I will pursue whatever legal means against you and your accomplices

There is a correct way and a wrong way to do things, your way is cowardly and classless.

The two worst exhibits of a person character are arrongance and ignorance, you unfortunately display both.

I am shocked at these allegations. I have been a customer of Blue Moons for the past 2 years. Katie's store was the first furniture store I visited when I moved to South Tampa 2 years ago and I fell in love. It is a delight to visit, which I frequently do. Katie is wonderful and always has a smile on her face. She truly enjoys what she does and cares deeply about every single customer that enters her store. She is always willing to help and go the extra mile...literally! she has personally delivered furniture to my house. I have never seen her prices change, in fact her prices are some of the lowest I have seen in the South Tampa area. She speaks positively, often, of her surrounding vendors and has often suggested other stores to go to if she doesn't have the piece you are looking for. I live down the street from Katie's store and drive past it REGULARLY and ALWAYS slow down to look into the store window to see what "treasures" she has displayed in her store window..and I can assure you..the windows were not smashed by a brick.
Every SINGLE word written about Katie in this report is absolutely false and is in fact laughable! Any decent person can see that. Even a complete stranger can meet Katie for five minutes and would have a better judge of character than this. It is so sad to see that people have nothing better to do than to make up venomous lies about such a lovely, kind person - to try and ruin her reputation. You will not succeed. She is what South Tampa is all about! Local vendors, one of a kind pieces, and a friendly atmosphere. 

Katie: Dont even let this bother you! Any person that has had the opportunity to visit your store and bet yet..those who have gotten to know you personally..would never believe a single word of it. You dont have to prove anything to anyone one...you do that every single day running your business. You are an amazing person and happy spirit and an inspiration! Don't let insignificant people like this bring you down. Stay positive!

I just have to respond to this article ...
I am shocked and dismayed that anyone could write these horrible and false things about someone who is upright, honest and the epitome of integrity! This is clearly an attack by some jealous and small minded person with a personal vendetta to undermine Blue Moon.  
I have done business with Katie for years and found her to be a wonderful person to deal with.  She is open, honest and sincere and THE most helpful sales person in the area.  I have recommended her to everyone I meet and will continue to do so.  Anyone who knows Katie will vouch for her character which is unimpeachable. I have bought numerous pieces from her and she has sold pieces for me, all of which were professionally dealt with.
I refuse to believe any of these lies that are being spread about her.  Clearly these two people have gotten together to write this nonsense about a reputable company and it's owner.  If I were her, I would pursue this legally and take these troublemakers to task
To Katie: Keep your head held high and keep doing exactly what you are doing all of South Tampa loves you!

As a former employee, current consignor, and customer of Katie and Blue Moon's I would like to state that I have never. in all of my years involved with her, encountered any of the claims that Remy is making.

Katie is the most honest and hard working business owner I know and as someone who has seen her and her store from an inside perspective there is NO FRAUD, NOTHING ILLEGAL, and NO LYING involved with this busines. Katie is upfront with everyone and works everyday to the bone because she loves what she does.

Remy's claims and defamation of this woman and her store disgust me and katie handled herself with her statement above like the class act that she is because I sure as hell would not have been so kind to this bottom feeder had it been me.

So, to Remy all I have to say is that she sounds like a bitter woman who just did not get her way with something and had to go to the internet to try and bring drama because no one wanted to hear her crazy talk anywhere else. Get a life a lady.

We love you Katie and those who know you WILL ALWAYS stand behind you!

I am very sorry if you feel that you have been wronged in any way by myself or my business. I feel that these allegations are untrue, harsh and are a surprise to me to find on this website, because I have never been face to face with you or any of these false allegations.

I strive everyday to make my business one of integrity and fairness and have a built a community of people who will stand behind me, my business, and this statement. These people that have been involved in my business for years know that Blue Moon would never or has ever had a part in any illegal dealings or not paying consignors.

I mean this in the most sincere way that I love my business, my customers, my community and my intent everyday when I walk in the door is to provide a quality product at a fair price point.
