Blue Trust Loans aka Hummingbird i would like to know if this payback of 4 times the amout I "borrowed" is legal. Their deception seems to be widespread. Is there a federal cap that is allowed by law.
In December 2017 I was contacted about a loan for $1,000. I spoke with a woman named Susan. I was at my desk and was told a payment of 365.77 would be deducted from my account starting in January. I thought I was paying 365.77 a month for six months. This would have made my payback at $2,194.62.
Instead they started deducting from my account 2 times a months. As it turns out after speaking with a rep from the company they implied that I agreed to their vague selling point and now I on the hook for $4,389.24. I would have never agreed to pay $4,400 for 1,000 loan. I find this ripoff criminal in nature and dubious. I WOULD LIKE TO STOP PAYMENT.

Did you even bother to read the contractual terms you agreed to? If you didn't like the terms, the time to complain is BEFORE you agree to them! That's COMMON SENSE!
