Complaint Review: Blue World Pools

I made the big mistake of going with Blue World Pools in 2005. I thought that I was going to get a professional job based on the cost. Instead, I got a half installed pool because the company sent the wrong box of upright supports. However, the installer said that it was safe to fill the pool and enjoy it. After several attempts to get the pool finished, I ended up doing it myself. This included having to drain and refill the pool, adding more sand under the liner, and installing the additional uprights. At least the company sent the uprights I needed. When I addressed the disgust with the quality of the installation and I did not want to pay because they did not complete the project, I was told that a lien was being placed on my home if I did not pay.

I can look back and find a couple of mistakes I have made in my lifetime, one of which is a big one - paying for a Blue World Pool. You can find just about the same quality pool for half the cost or less. Do not be fooled in thinking you are getting a professional. I do still have the pool (the kids enjoy it), and I am still paying for it too.
