After an investigation by Rip-off Report, we found that Blue World Pools is actively resolving complaints and addresses contractor issues. This EDitor has reviewed the Reports regarding Blue World Pools and has found a real and dedicated effort by Blue World Pools' management team to effectively resolve past, present, and future complaints. Many of which were just misunderstandings and have now been resolved. Rip-off Report found that the number of Reports is so very small in comparison to its total number of customers. We did find some reports that may have been posted by a competitor. Some complaints came from people who did not even purchase a pool from Blue World Pools. ===================== BLUE WORLD POOLS BAD PRICE/ BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE/ BAD ALL AROUND NEVADA CORP / BASED OUT OF GEORGIA ATLANTA

We contacted Blue World Pools in May of last year about the $300 pool they had on the TV. They sent out a Sales Person and he came to our home. When he got to our home he was not interested in selling us the $300 pool, he wanted us to buy a $20,000 pool.

We said, no...no...no. He finally went from $20,000 to $10,000 in which we thought, well that isn't too bad. We knew nothing about above ground pools and we knew that in ground pools were triple that amount of money so we decided to try it out.

We had one issue, we were planning on moving in a year or two and we didn't want to spend that kind of money. The Salesman, who we thought was a nice guy at the time, insured us that we could move the entire pool for only $500.00. He didn't bother to mention that in order to move the pool we would have to pay an additional $3,000 to replace the liner, because the other one would not be able to be reinstalled. We found this out this year once we tried to move the pool.

Well after the salesman left, all hell broke loose. We were told the pool would be delivered in 3 to 4 weeks. Well we waited... NO POOL. We waited some more... STILL NO POOL. After about 6 to 8 weeks we were told it would be another 4 to 6 weeks before we would get a pool. Well I threw a fit, threatened them with a law suit, threatened to contact the BBB and harassed them day and night until they got my pool there.

The RUDE manager told me that he would accommodate me only because I was harassing him (I didn't care) and he would have them skip over several other customers that ordered before me (still didn't care) but he would have to bring it to me on the weekend. He told me to order some masonry sand and have it delivered to my home and to pay the delivery person. He then said to give the bill to the installer and the installer would reimburse me. He gave me NO OTHER specifications and the call ended. Well I called and ordered a truck load of sand for $500.00.

When the installer gets there he said "Nope can't pay you $500.00, I can only pay you $250.00. You will have to get the rest from the company". I agreed to this and he installed the pool.

The installer seemed to be a little rough around the edges, but nice enough. He installed the pool and gave me about a 2 second tutorial and hit the road running. To this day, I STILL don't really understand how that pool works or needs to be maintained.

I called the company on that Monday, explained to them the situation of the sand and was told I was "OUT OF LUCK". I began to grow horns, and another battle ensued. The RUDE manager finally agreed to send me a check, and I did receive it, only after about 3 or 4 more phone calls to remind him to do so.

Well the pool was in, the family was enjoying it, and everything was ok. A few weeks after the pool was installed we would try to call to get help on how to take care of the pool, it was green and we had NO CLUE. We received half baked answers... No one really knew what to do, but everything we suggested seamed to be something that would cause a rift in the warranty if we did it. By the way they try to get out of the warranty AT EVERY ANGLE.

We went to another pool place for help only to find out that we had been ripped off by these people. We could have purchased the same pool for 1/2 the money. We heard horror stories about this company and our hearts were broken. At that moment we knew we had been taken for a ride. We have always been so careful not to allow people to swindle us...but it was true. We had been HAD.

Since then, we have received poor customer service, lies, deceit and when we found out that he also lied about the transfer of the pool, WELL that was the last straw.

I have vowed that I will let every person I come across know about this company. I will not rest until they go out of business. I think there should be a law about people like this and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Until then I want everyone to steer clear of these con-artists and don't get swindeled like we did. Thanks for allowing me to vent.
