Were you lured into deception by seeing a Blue World Pools commercial advertising a $299.00 pool? You probably said, "Hey that's not a bad deal."
You quickly grabbed a pen and paper and wrote the number down. You called Blue World Pools and the representative set an appointment for one of their salesman to come out.

The $299.00 pool advertisement was a trap so they can get you to buy either the Classic or the Midline pool. Our date was set for 7/14/07 and a salesman did come out. First he showed us the Classic and the Midline then the Econoline that's the $299.00 pool that was advertised. The salesman walked our backyard, measured where the pool will be set up and then we went back inside to discuss the price.

For an above ground pool the prices were extremely high we said to the salesman ($18,180.00). He made a call to Kevin Fisher, Fisher dropped the price down to $8,800. We thought we were getting a pretty good deal, so we said O.K.! The salesman went over the contract, but did not go over the 3 day cancel notice. The contract was so long and it went on about Arbitration, Liens, so on and so on. This was our original contract. The $8,800 also included our installation as told my Kevin Fisher which was not true.

Later on that day we got a call from a representative that said we got an all expense paid trip to Hawaii for 8 days and a $75.00 gift certificate. My husband and I checked the website www.RedeemMyOffer.com and the 8 day trip is not available also the gift certificate is useless.

So the big day came for the pool installer to set up our pool on 8/7/07. The installer did not get any papers notarized before setting up the pool he had already started. So the pool is completed and set up. I went to the notarizer to get all the paper work complete. LISTEN TO THIS!

This was an act from Jehovah God! When I was at the office our salesman called Gary Treadwell and told me that he no longer work for Blue World Pools because they are running a SWITCH and BAIT SCAM on homeowners so they can get your property. I was hurt.

I got home and gave my husband the phone and Gary told him everything about the scam. I smiled at the installer and asked for all my paper work back including his copies to make copies for my records, the installer was hesitate, but he gave me all copies back.

We noticed that none of the forms had dates on them. Blue World Pools were going to back date it to the original date which was 07/14/07 so we would not cancel the transaction. The installer came out with a new contract on 8/7/07 with a new price $13,456.58 with a total cost of purchase for $26,060.00. This was not what we discussed with Kevin Fisher. All the new documents are now in my possession as well as the original contract with the original sales price.

We took our original contract as well as the new contract and forms and made copies. We gave these copies to the attorney general of Louisiana, Nevada, and Georgia, the mayor of Shreveport and Vivian, Inside Edition, Dateline, our congressman Jim McCrery of Washington, we filed a police report, got us a ATTORNEY, white collar crime division said that they are under an investigation. We got in touch with our local news stations for the consumer alert report against Blue World Pools and we are still not finished.

On 8/7/07 we had the police to come out to our home and I asked one of the officiers to look in the installers brief case for any more forms, the officier searched and as we know we have all the forms that they really needed. Kevin Fisher called my husband and threatened us to release the forms to the installer or he was going to take our property. We told him that he can take the pool down and he refused. I took the installer plates down and ran a report on him.

My husband is in a wheel chair and we were going to use that pool as a way of therapy so he can walk again. Our kids wanted a pool to have fun and have their friends over. It is not right for Blue World Pools to try to take advantage of people who are hard working with families who want something in life. It is wrong to be deceptive or misleading. Blue World Pools "YOU WILL BE STOPPED!"

My husband and I would like to thank God for putting it on Gary Treadwell's heart to give us a call that day.

Hello,
sorry you were taken advantage of in that way. I actually am trying to prevent the same. I would like to know about the offer to Hawaii. Did the voucher they gave you have an actual redemption number or was it blank? I am wondering if what i have is valid. Thanks in advance for your help.
