A lessoned learn.  I was very excited about using my American Express BlueBird card for my tax refund.  Bluebird offered web link for information for routing number and account number to file and check the status of my refund.  The IRS reported that my check was deposited on February 4th, 2015 if my funds are not in my account by February 9th, I may contact the IRS for assistance.  My Bluebird account status did not show this deposit or pending transaction.  February 6th; Customer service stated that they can hold the funds for 48 hours and that my funds would be deposited no later than 7 pm February7th, 2015.  Oops I fought to ask what time zone.

 I called and reported that my funds are not posted to my card.  After the representative escalated my concern and we reviewed my tax information I discovered that I left a zero off at the end of my account number. Oops again!  The customer service representative tell me to call the IRS.  If you research BlueBird learn more how to have your tax refund deposited on your card  Turbotax FAQ: What if I enter the wrong digits?  This page will let you know that the BANKER is better to handle this situation.  If Bluebird's BANKER would assist me, my money would not be held up any longer. How much longer? Time will tell. Expect your refund 48 hours plus.  Just saying.
