My son is in the navy and i care for his kids so he got me a bluebird American express card from walmart thought it would be a easy way to give me money for his kids well i got the card back in Dec. he has been putting money on it i was never very happy with it once it held my money for over a week and left me with nothing when there was money on it anyway the other day he went to put money on the card for me and it wouldn't know long let us i call the lady she was very rude acted like we broke the law she told us we could not put money on the card with his debit card i told her we had been doing it for months it was right there in black and white and now she is going to make this big stink she said he had to also have their dumb card to beable to do that i tried to tell her we had been doing that for months she was acting like we took something from them she froze my acct i asked her what about the money that was on it she just kept telling me i amitted to her like i was a theft .its the dumbest thing i ever heard and i want to make sure i can stop as many people as i can from dealing with these stupid people it had been charging us the two dollar fee for using a debit card how the hell did they think i was getting money on it so i have money on a card i cant use i was so mad it made no since to me it was anything new he was doing it was his own money i had to leave or i could have said a few more things to her and word to the wise if u do have one of theses cards never use it for gas they will hold up the rest of your money for day no matter how much u have on it i really just want these people to see how dumb they sound my son is in the navy he dont have time for their crap thank u very much

Its too Bad some of you are having such a hard time with this Card, I have had the Bluebird card for a year...Havent had any problems at all.
As a matter of fact, I went on a business trip, when I got back I noticed that my account has a couple of suspicious charges. I called American Express, they immediately refunded the money to me and were quite helpful.
I have NO problem with direct deposits, or any other kind of deposits.
The only problem I can say, Which has nothing to do with the card, is when you get gas the Merchant does hold $90. But I do understand why they do it, and it only takes a day or two.
If people are having a hard time With a PREPAID card, Go getting a checking account, and get a debit card with it. You CANT SPEND more than you have and They are NO different.

It seems some People are just rude All i have done is try to help my son out who have been fighting for rude a*s people like u i really dont care what u think so go back under the rock u crawled out of

Please be sure to get your grandchildren to school every day. Maybe in a few years they will be able to assist you with elementary level writing and basic sentence structure.
