Went to the Trade Winds in St. Petersburg (which was once a high class and respected resort in my opinion) for a "2 hour" presentation which lasted 4 and 1/2 hours. When it became clear that we would not receive our promised "no obligation" gift, we signed up for the cheapest package deal.
Upon arriving home, we checked out Bluegreen Vacations, Inc. on the internet and this confirmed our suspicions that this is a really shoddy, high-pressure rip-off. According to the terms of our contract, we sent a certified return receipt request for a return of our money. That was on November 28, 2014.
To date, none of our phone calls have been returned and we have not received our money. I would like to know if anyone else has had difficulty getting their money back and if anyone has considered filing larceny charges against this group for Theft By Taking.
Nothing they could ever offer anyone to attend one of their "presentations" would make the cost of doing business with these sleeze balls worth it!!!
