The agreement says pay for one music title at regular price receive ten free. I signed up. The fisrt time I logged onto the site I ordered 3 music selections and paid with credit card. I put in my order for my free music. They said they couldn't send it because my titles were a special promotion and did not count towards membership.

The second order I placed was for 2 titles. I again paid with credit card, being very careful to order full priced cds so they would count. They sent me a free title saying it came with one I had ordered and therefore my order again did not count towards membership.

My third try I ordered and did not pay I asked to be billed after I recieved my free cds. Of course that didn't work I had to pay to get them. I logged back into the site and submitted payment for the remaining balance and they added a new balance.

They are now saying that they can not process my music because of this new balance of 5.80 that they don't know what it is for.

I have paid over 80.00 for a membership that was supposed to only be 19.00 and still they have not kept thier end of the agreement.

I don't see anything in this "rip-off" report that qualifies as a rip-off. I've been a BMG customer for years, and have never experienced any dishonesty or fraud.

Yes, "premium" selections do not count toward fulfilling a membership agreement, but that is clearly stated.

And, it's not a $19 membership. You pay $19 for the regular-price purchase PLUS shipping and handling on all 12 CDs. So, the whole thing costs a little over $52. That comes to only $4.37 per CD. Now, how is that a rip-off.
