After only 2800 miles of use, my BMW 128i has developed a noticeable depression on its dashboard. I purchased my vehicle from Desimone BMW threes months ago and now after the car has been in service five times (two of which where for this dashboard issue) they are saying that they can not & will not fix the dashboard claiming that this depression is normal for this vehicle. I wish I was aware of this defect prior to my purchase as I would have bought a different vehicle. I feel extremely cheated as neither BMW NA or Desimone BMW are willing to stand behind their product even after the defect has been acknowledged. At Desimone BMW I spoke with, Nick V. (Service Advisor), Salvo S. (Service Manager), Russell J. (Original Sales Advisor), Artur P. (Sales Manager), and Chris K. (General Manager). At BMW NA I spoke with Kelly, Tara, Amy, & Eric F. (Eastern Regional Supervisor).

Apparently BMW claims this is "normal". That is quite a bit different then stating they acknowledged a defect.

I have personally conducted several internet searches, and can not find a SINGLE complaint regarding this dashboard depression anywhere.

So..as an objective viewer to this complaint, it comes off as questionable.

Can you post a picture of this "depression"? I may be able to offer advice on how to have this repaired if BMW tells you to pound sand. Granted you seem to be the ONLY person on Earth with this complaint...but at the same time..you claim BMW states this is "normal".

So can you understand why some reading this report would have doubts to it's merit?
