First, I will preface this review by stating that the website for this nail salon is grossly false and highly misleading. In fact, it is borderline fraud. During my first and last visit to this place, there was no evidence of new ownership, however it was advertised on their website. I even asked two different workers about new ownership and both stated that there was no new owners.

Secondly, the service was horrible and the outcome even worse. While a male tech worked on my nails, he engaged in phone and text conversation on his cell, laughed out loud with the female tech sitting next to him and it was very clear that both were talking about me and the other customers.

We customers were being laughed at by two barely English-speaking immigrants, being paid beans to work long hours doing the dirty work to make our nails look nice. But, they laugh at us. The other customer and I looked at one another several times while these two stopped in the middle of their work to text.

Then, there was the owner of the shop, who was constantly ridiculing of the black community and said that "most people do not want to come to the hood to get their nails done". If this woman cannot stand having a business in a predominantly black neighborhood, she should pack up and relocate to Brier Creek or Cary. Oh, that's right, she can't afford fancy.

When the male tech could not finish my nail job for unknown reasons, another female who was dressed like a heroin hooker, applied my polish and left too much space between the nail and the cuticle. Once at home, I took off that police and reapplied another color because the crackhead had done such a terrible job painting my nails.

Never again will I patronize this business and subject myself to ridiculing, demeaning and disrespectful behavior by workers. As black people, we are so used to getting bad treatment by those whom we pay to provide a service to us, we become numb to it and develop an unhealthy tolerance for it. This has to stop. I get that the prices at this salon are dirt cheap. However, your self-respect and dignity are worth much more. And, there are plenty of options.

The owner receives so many negative reviews, she thought that changing the name and lying about new ownership would make previous customers think that it is a new nail salon with new workers. Lies, lies and more lies. You still will get the same bad treatment because nothing has changed.

There was a similar report made about another salon in the SAME city as yours. Coinsidence or you just changed your name to slam a salon because they did not wait on you like you expected. I have been going to my same nail place and not only are they friendly but they go above and beyond for all their customers.

And they are VIETNAMESE - I could care less if they talk to each other in their native language. IF you have a problem with it I suggest you find a salon with ENGLISH ONLY speaking techs - yeah good luck with that. Snob.
