I purchased a car and was told it was still under factory warranty and only had 1211 miles on it. I question why and was told this "big story". Trusting him, I believed his story. Took car home at 6pm 6/20/2012 next morning at 6am it wouldn't start. Since it was under warranty, I took it to the Dealer, only to be told the car was not under warranty due to the junk yard parts in it. Rick told me they were lying to me. I told Rick I might be interest in another car. Or I wanted my money back, He told me he didn't work that way.  But stated again, there was nothing wrong with the car.
So I took it to another place to be inspected, only to be told it had been in a pretty bad crash, and wasn't in good driving condition. During all this I couldn't get Rick to return my calls, so I finally took the car to his place and block his other cars to get him to call me.  He left me a nasty message that he was going to tow MY car.  Now that I have had it inspected twice he will not answer my calls.
So I am now senting complaints to DMV, Attorney Generals office, and anywhere else I can find.  Along with having to get an attorney, which is money I don't have.  So the car is sitting in my driveway, undrivable.  STAY AWAY FROM RICK BURTON AND BnB AUTO.
I just have to add my poor me story.  My husband has had very bad health issues for over 10 years.  My son had a Traumatic Brain Injury 5 years ago.  I am their caretaker and also hold down a full time job.  I dont have the money to fix the car he sold me, so I am paying on a car I cant drive.

The car only had 1211 miles on it and he had numerous Advs in the internet stating the car was still under full factory warranty.  He gave me this story that the car had been with the tax commission for back taxes the owner hadn't paid, and that they had to keep the car for 6 months.  And that he just picked up the car that week.   (DMV records show he put the car under his name in January.)  He also told me that it was still under warranty and that it was like new.   Yes, I know I was stupid to believe him, and not have the car checked out before purchasing it.  But he would not let me drive it without him in the car.  That should have been a clue.

"I purchased a car and was told it was still under factory warranty and only had 1211 miles on it."

That statement is difficult to decipher. Did the warranty have 1211 miles remaining or was the car 1211 miles into the warranty? Were you given written documentation that supports the dealer's claim that it was under warranty?

What is the year, make, model and total mileage on the car at the time of purchase?
