Complaint Review: Town Of Mendon/state Of Ma.

we purchased a home in mendon ma.nov 07.the appraisal came in at 225,000 but was assesed by the at 350,000. come jan,08 we got the new assesment at 400,000.being new to this not paying much attention cause the taxes are included in our mortgage we did nothing,until someone informed us we we should file an abaitment,so we did.....sorry we were told there is nothing that could be done cause we filed to late.the abaitment needs to be filed by febuary 1,and we filed march 1,.there is also a building we are being taxed on,1000 additional wich does not exist..well bottom line is we are screwed and our mortgage went up 300.00 per month,

and now we too are amongst the many struggling to keep our home thanks to state law that sticks us with a 170,000 over evaluation. so this year we are stuck paying the town 2700. morev than we should....

if you are currently experiencing anything along these lines please help me begin a fight to change the laws to allow more leway as to the limited time you should be allowed to abait our taxes in the future.

also i'm considering suing the town for the difference again please join me and help fight to change the law in the future....thanks
