Boat N RV Superstore took deposit on 2/4/14 for a camper, deal fell through couldn't get anyone to return a call or refund out money. Rockwood Tennessee
On Feb. 3, 14, we were looking on line for a slide in camper. Received a call from Kimberly w/ Boatnrv, they had one, but it had to come from NY. They requested a $500 deposit to which I sent from my bank.
On Thurs. 2/6, was notified they couldn't find financing for us. On Fri. 2/7, we cancelled the deal. On Mon. 2/10 I spoke w/ Candy, finance manager, and asked to my refund. She said "I'll have to send it for approval upstairs". I'll call you back. Didn't get a call that day. On Tues., 2/11 I called her again, and she said "I have to talk to PA".
I never heard back from her. I called 1-2 times each day, asking for different people, Candy, Kimberly, sales manager, never received a return call.
On Tues., 2/19, my husband called asking for the same people and was able to speak to anyone. My husband got very upset w/ them and threatened to go there personally.
I went to my bank to file a dispute and low and behold that afternoon they wanted to return my money, but the bank had taken my card for the dispute. They couldn't the money w/o my card.
On Wed., 2/19, Steve, the sales manager finally called and got nasty w/ me when I told him I went to my bankd and the BBB.
