Today I went to the dealership since I needed a new car and this was one of the dealership that Dodge was dropping the contract with. Knowing I could get a good deal for a Dodge Caliber I entered happy and excited. Once I get there I wandered around for about 10 minutes before someone asked me if I needed help. I told him i was looking for a Dodge and he just turns around start walking and just pointed saying the next building (not trying to get me to look at any other cars from his side)

I check out the other side and get the same treatment but worse. I wonder around again getting no help until I lose interest in looking anymore so I headed into the building. walking around for another 10 minutes I start trying to ask for help it takes about 3 people until someone is willing to help.

I asked if they have the Caliber R/T he told me to look outside and pointed to the cars. I told him I couldn't find one so he tells me "we must not have any left." So i asked about the show room model that is the SRT4 (top of the line model). he had to go check, taking about 15 minutes to get back to on just the price.

I told him I'd be interested in that one. This is when it starts to get weird. He then starts to talk me out of buying the car. Telling me that the resale value is crap, how banks don't like to give out loans for cars anymore and how they never sold many dodges. I tell him how I Just bought my own restaurant he asks "oh your dad owns a restaurant?" I replied "no, I own it" and that I am the president of my own corporation. apparently not believing me.

After about a few minutes of him still trying to not get me to buy a car and not giving me any paperwork I ask for the Financial Specialist. he says "He is working on another person right now and is not to happy since he is missing the magic Game" and how "once they close he is going to rush out of here" they still had about an hour still open. still not getting any help I just left and no one stops me trying to get me to buy any car.

i am figuring since i am a 24 year old male with long hair wearing a black t-shirt with skulls on it I don't have any money, and apparently me owning my own restaurant was just me lying to him since there is no way that could happen.

I didn't get to go into how much I can put down, how long the payments would be, if i had a co-signer or anything. i sure i am never going to buy a car here, not like they'd give me the paper work to do so anyway. I am also making sure everyone i Know is not even going to consider this place.

Apparently they don't want to try to sell a car that they we never able to sell in the first place. i guess I'll just stick to another dealer.

The salesman were not suitably impressed that a long haired dude with the black skulls T-shirt was the owner of a fine dining establishment.

Apparently, he has not been around long enough to know if you look and dress like a loser, you will still be treated like a loser, even if you own a restaurant. That's just the way life works. He's still young yet.
