My husband and I bought an '01 Ford F250 from this dealership back in '04. They had us come back in and sign papers 3 separate times during the purchasing process. I was so sick of it having to sign more papers that by the 3rd & final time I came into the dealership I made the HUGE mistake of sign, sign, sign.

The creep of a finance manager decided to add every possible detail to our sale to include life insurance. So we ended up with a huge inflated truck payment that was never reduced because we signed a contract. The truck was a diesel. My husband's had diesels before and he knew that they got decent gas mileage. At the time gas prices were just starting to climb and diesel was still cheap. But as luck would have it our diesel got worse mileage than regular gas engine trucks, around 12 to 14 miles to the gallon.

My husband consulted with the local Ford dealership's Service Manager and found out easy diagnostic tests and likely causes for the problem. Bob Penkhus refused that that could remedy the mileage problem and wouldn't do the recommended diagnostics. They continued to tell us our truck was getting normal gas mileage. We would have brought it to Ford but then we'd have to pay out of pocket for the tests & repairs that should have been covered under the warranty we purchased.

About 2 months after we bought the d**n thing and still fighting with them over the gas mileage, we brought it in for an oil change. When we got the truck back my digital camera in the center console mysteriously disappeared. Wonder how that happened.

A few months after that the engine would completely shut down in the middle of driving. Had to have the thing towed twice because they never fixed what was supposed to be fixed. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to these people, well maybe I would.
