Bobbie Holsclaw Jefferson County Ky. Clerk's Online Land Records Web-site Jefferson County, Ky.'s Bobbie Holsclaw Clerk's Website Posting Social Security #'s Mother's Maiden Name & More..For I.D. Thieves Louisville (Jefferson County) Kentucky
The Jefferson County, Ky. Clerk's Web-site has posted alarming personal identifiable information on their website.
I have been a victim of I.D. Theft. I have a common name. My Attorney suggested I alter my name, so I agreed to change my middle name.
I filed the necessary paper work.
Months later, a friend told me my new middle name, my address, my deceased Mother's maiden name & my Father's physical address, and my Date Of Birth!~ are now posted on this site!
This site also list many Social Security numbers.
Many have complained, and their excuse is that the Social Security's
are slowly being removed. Very few have been removed.
How dare our local Government freely post a person's personal information on the Worldwide- Web!
I now live in fear that the person/('s), responsible for stealing my identity, can easily find my new address, My New Middle name, & My Mother's Maiden Name, date of birth.....
Isn't this just fine crock of red tape bull crap?????
It's humuliating to travel abroad, & get pulled aside by U.S. Customs and given the 3rd degree to prove that I'm the Victim!
Also re-newing My drivers' licence. I go through the same ordeal!
Many residents of Louisville, Ky. Don't even realize their personal information has been compromised by our local County Clerk's Office.
Ms. Holsclaw blames the former Governor Ernie Fletcher.
To see what I mean just go to www.jeffersoncountyclerk.org.
Click on online land records search button. Enter Your Surname -(Last name), Then your first. Don't enter your middle initial, the system gives better results not entering it. Then hit the search button.
I have called, called, called, these people.
They say I have to get a Valid Court Order.
I need an Attorney in Louisville, Ky. to expose this mess & to remove my personal information.
If the County Clerk were so bright, She could charge an individual a fee for requesting these documents which contain our Personal info.
This would add much needed revenue to the County & City budgets.
By doing this she could keep track of the person pulling the information & document their identity & Require 2-3 forms of identification.
Public records should remain Public records, without any personal identifying information.
Any which will contribute to identity theft should be removed & only made public via in person visit with strict stipulations.
We have the city now concerned with thieves stealing copper, metal, & their keeping track of people taking such scaps to recycling centers, but they certainly are ill disregard with protecting their citizens identity, good credit rating...... Just keep giving Theives our personal information!
Real nice of you Ms. Hosclaw!
Furious to no end!
Residents of Louisville, Ky. Beware!
