I bought a Troy Bilt leaf blower / vac and used it less than 10 times in one year. Each time the rubber vac tube got looser and kept shutting off and on. Needed to be wiggled to turn back on.

Finally I took it to the authorized service center, Boca Raton Small Engines for a warranty repair or replacement. They have a lot of service guys, most with really nasty attitudes. Guess they should install an air conditiioner to cool them off. It was too hot in there in July. They said I was wasting my time hoping for a warranty repair, and would have to wait a month for the Troy Bilt rep to show up and then authorize the repair, but that he probably would not due to "normal wear and tear".

I contacted Troy Built and they said it was the perrogative of the factory authorized service center to fix it or not. Passed the buck. Runaround. Worthless 2 year warranty.

I'll never buy Troy Bilt or Boca Raton Small Engines again.

to another authorized Troy-Bilt service center for a second opinion...can't hurt.
