The reason that all internet gaming companies need security checks prior to payouts is that they need to ensure that nobody is inappropriately using the players cards for the initial deposit…ie identity theft…meaning the security checks are primarily for the players protection. These security checks are done at the payout stage for player convenience as during the deposit process most players are in a hurry to get a deposit in and start playing.
