Anyone who has ever played cards is familiar with odds.  Bodog is absolutely so far from the real odds, they make claims saying that it is because more hands are dealt and played on the internet and hats why it feels like one loses more.  I am not speaking of winning and losing I am talking purely of odds, and they do not even come close.

For example if more hands are dealt and you are playing the odds in your favor all the time then it should actually yield more profit in the long run instead of the opposite as they claim; in the long run odds always win otherwise casinos would be out of business.

Their hands if documented over a period are time are setup in order to create more action.  For example it is fairly odd for multiple pocket pairs to be all dealt on the same hand, yet on Bodog nearly every time one is dealt there is a reciprocal pocket pair to create more "action".  Not only is their another pocket pair but the odds of them hitting three of a kind on Bodog i found to be roughly 27% more occuring on Bodog, than any other site.  It is almost as if they set it up for the odds player who should be the only one winning long term to lose.

I documented 100 hands in which i played only heavy favorite hands; in those 100 hands  only  6 of them yielded winners.  Do you understand what I am saying 6% of heavily favored hands with a 60% favor to win, was the result.  This is unrealistic in every possible way and impossible to happen if the software truly is randomized.

A very important note about this writing is that, i write not as a sore loser for i was only playing for small stakes for sake of the study to gain information on this fraudulent site. i admit of course sometimes the favorite hand loses or takes a bad beat, but not consistently in the fashion as they happen on Bodog.  i write this as a scientific and mathematical study of the odds in cards which are proven to win long term.  When you ask Bodog about this they claim that it is because you see more hands online, which is true but that only backs up my case more meaning that it is easier to play the odds online and become profitable.

They make a rake on percentage of hands so of course they want the hand prices to be higher, what better way to do that when people are constantly losing set over set, quads over flush, quads over quads.  Yes these do happen in real live games but they are rarities, they are happening at an average of 1 of every 3 hands on Bodog, these "bad beats", and if you pay attention alot of times folded hands are nailing sets and flushes all the time to where nearly everyone could be getting in on the action.  It is a psychological tool to encourage the player to involve in more hands as they see these big pots piling up.

Casinos have been using this kind of mind warfare for ages.  For example why is there no big windows on the casino floor? so you lose track of time and stay longer. Why do they keep it so cold? so you stay awake.  tons of little things you never notice in order to create this.

However I am fed up and sick of Bodog and their supposed good software .  It is absolute garbage and nothing but pure greed.  They would make plenty of money running a reputable site that an actual poker game can be played at instead of just push and hope to get lucky because odds dont matter here people!!!
It is a pure shame this is allowed to go on, i urge more mathmeticians to look into this and lets get a class action lawsuit for all bodog poker players who have been getting ripped off by this company.

I sent them emails of the hands so they could review them but they never did, they know the truth all they could say is its because more hands are played, but they dont realize that only backs our case mo

NO U.S. court is going to help you recover any funds from these schmucks.  Don't take my word for it.  Do some online research of your own.  2 poker site domains that were based on U.S. servers were siezed by the FBI-it is illegal for persons on U.S. soil to gamble on line.   Just do a search for the full tilt poker boys or the poker stars guys.  You land on a page for U.S. citizens.

Any lawsuit you file would be summarily dismissed on the grounds of the "clean hands doctrine."  No U.S. court is going to help you recover funds based on your illegal activity.

Then of course is the problem of getting them to show up in a U.S. court-won't happen.  They'll simply hire a U.S. attorney to file the motion to dismiss.

These schmucks are based over seas.  Good luck filing your "class action lawsuit."

Gambling on line is a sucker bet.  LMAO!

Class Action All the Way

I would first like to say to Jarret that I am in total agreement.  Playing online is like electronic voting you can't trust it.  I joined Bodog recently and have had nothing happen but ridiculous suckouts and outragioulsy bad flops against terrible hands.  My favorite was having two seperate players (myself included) get the same hands on the next hand and have the same guy get trip 8s twice in a row against pocket aces.  I could go on all day. Like you I am not complaining about a bad beats here or there but realistically the odds are astronomical that that could happen twice in a row.  Bottom line it is not random and is rigged to promote agressive play because it really is similar to playing the slots.  The only way I have found that I actually make any money is in real life play with other people at a real table.  Sign me up for the law suit!!  If it's possible contact me through this or respond because I have another point I would like to make but as yet would not like to make it public..

Oh and to BoDog Becky you will say anything because your paid to!  Whatever board you claim verifies it is a farce.  I hope they at least pay you well or maybe you simply bought into to their line of bs!  I am forever done with any thing to do with online poker!

Bodog Poker would never, ever rig their software.  Bodog Poker software has been certified by Gaming Associates and you can find a link to the certificate itself along with more information about the bodog poker software here: http://poker.bodog.eu/how-to-play/shuffle-certification.html.

Thanks,
Becky
